It's really a question of justice and equity, not a lack of resources. Changes in the workfore like automation have increase productivity, corporate profits, and so on. Eventually, there is going to be a reckoning, people won't put up with immiseration forever. Opting out of the system's logic, even in quiet ways (not having children), is a way to disrupt the system.
What I'm saying is that disrupting the system that keeps you alive is something to be done very cautiously, not emotionally.

Choosing to not have children, quiet quitting, etc., is the cautious approach. It's non-cooperation in an oppressive system. It's about honoring human dignity and human limits in a system that denies both.

Regarding fighting against the system in that way, I sympathize with the lack of money, but it's going to make the matters worse.
Worse for society. Not worse for those people. If you want people to have more kids, then go back to the way things were in the 50s and 60s, when it wasn't economically damaging to have more kids.

Appealing to social responsibility has the same effect on a middle-class or working -class couple as it has on Jeff Bezos. Make it economically advantageous to do the right thing, than then they will do it.

Like one does not lead to the other.
Right. But asking people to take a huge financial hit for society, is not a very effective way of getting them to change behavior. Fix the problem, and the problem is gone. Bottom line? If corner offices grab too much of the income for themselves, the people actually producing that wealth are going to tighten belts. That means fewer or no kids to keep the system going.

Just economic reality.
