That's part of why it's hard to take you guys seriously on the subject of trans people. So confident that you know what makes a man or a woman, and yet you whiff hard on this one.
Doesn't that cut both ways a bit with Macron's situation (in terms of being taken seriously)? lol
If someone being a Trans woman is "no big deal", and "there's no difference between Trans women and Cis women", and in fact, it's something that's empowering and to be celebrated...
Then why would someone be so offended at the claim his wife is a trans woman that it would cause a lawsuit?
Me: "Pineapple on pizza is just fine, in fact we should celebrate those kinds of differences, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it"
Podcaster: "When I saw this footage of Rob at a pizza shop, I'm pretty sure that looks like pineapple on his pizza, seems like he enjoys pineapple pizza"
Me: "How dare you say such a terrible thing about me! Defamation! Libel! Clutch the pearls! I'm going to sue you!"
Would that seem consistent?
Nobody who claims to be a trans ally should be offended by premise of a cis woman getting confused for a trans woman...because they're the exact same thing and there's nothing wrong it... correct?
It shouldn't be viewed as a bigger deal than if someone incorrectly thought she was a natural redhead who was dying her hair blonde if we're to believe the rhetoric of the
allies.
Seems like Macron's unconscious and implicit biases are showing...
