Black Sabbath singer Ozzy Osbourne dies in the UK at the age of 76
"It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning," a statement from his family reads
Osbourne was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019 and played Black Sabbath's farewell gig in his home city of Birmingham earlier this month
It was a joyful day - and fortunate in hindsight that he was able to go out on a high, writes BBC entertainment reporter Ian Youngs

It was being said it was a miracle he was still alive more than ten years ago, considering the lifestyle he had lead. It's said that he identified as a Christian and expressed belief in God.

I read that Ozzy was a Christian but Sharon was open to all faiths.

Yes. He was a member of The Church of England- an Anglican.

Please: Everyone please understand that I don't know how Ozzy Osbourne stood with God and won't claim anything about him. I only want to say that church membership isn't an indication of whether someone is a Christian. It only means someone is a member of a church.

Again, I'm not saying anything about Osbourne's spiritual state. I'm only saying that being a member of a church is simply being a member of a church, no more, no less.

You are right, also a lot of these 'Christians' the extent of their identification as a Christian is do unto others & that's it, & that's no different then what a false religion teaches. Christianity does not teach you are a Christian b/c you agree w/ Jesus do unto others & it does not teach you are a Christian b/c you went to church growing up

Yes. Alice Cooper belongs to the evangelical covenant church which is an offshoot of Lutheranism. Founded by Swedish Lutherans.
