Bad analogy.
Back in the day the clergy were the
last people we would have expected this from. Now we know better. Decades ago I worked in child protection work - and had to investigate the plausibility of various excuses for child abuse etc. I've also done children's ministry in the Anglican church - and I completely endorse the very practical Safe Ministry training all leaders get once every 2 years. We're talking about not just doing the right thing, but being seen to be doing the right thing. Doors open when counselling someone distressed - 2 leaders in the car until all children are dropped home - that sort of thing.
Let's just say Trump doesn't pass the sniff test with Epstein over this. There was never anything 'clergy' about either of them.
Their combined documented behaviour and foul-mouthed gags over the decades are now being rehearsed by Jon Stewart's Daily Show. If you're embarrassed by how crude Jon Stewart can go because of Trump's own behaviour - you should be embarrassed to have Trump as your President. Why am I bringing it up on Jon Stewart and not documenting all the source material directly? 1. I need the humour to cope with this. 2. It's all so old it's part of the common western culture. That he did and said these things is not contestable. It is why the saner parts of the western world gagged when Trump was elected the first time - let alone the second.
I've timed it to
after the expo of the "Wonderful Secret" letter - which is bad enough. This is where Jon summarises their history for the context to read the "Wonderful Secret" letter.
Starts here. There is so much more - but these 2 are bad enough! This is the sort of evidence that could one day be entered into a court as part of the historical context leading up to whatever is in the Epstein files.
