If there was a "list" incriminating Dems in those files the former FBI would have destroyed it. And if there was a "list" incriminating Trump and repubs they for certain would have released it before and during the election.
Possibly true. So show what they got anyway and resolve the big stink in the MAGAsphere so they can be one big unhappy dysfunctional family again.

Okey dokey, glad to oblige. From here: Trump says FBI should investigate ‘the Jeffrey Epstein hoax’ as a criminal conspiracy against him – live updates

'Trump went on to suggest that all of the files from the federal investigation into his late friend, the convicted sex offender Epstein, should not be released because they might include false information about him planted there by his Democratic rivals.'

This stinks to high heaven. He wanted them released. He campaigned on them being released. He promised that they would be released after he was elected. But now? If people have planted false information then it should be brought out into the open and investigated. And there are now enough Republicans wanting that to happen. From here: Republican support rolls in for legislation to release Epstein files

'Republican support is rolling in for a new legislative push in the House to direct the Department of Justice (DOJ) to release more files on the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, despite President Trump’s urging to drop the matter.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), who is leading the push with Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.), announced on social media Wednesday that five more Republicans had signed on to co-sponsor the measure: Reps. Lauren Boebert (Colo.), Jeff Van Drew (N.J.), Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.), Eric Burlison (Mo.), and Tim Burchett (Tenn.).

The Massie and Khanna legislation would require Attorney General Pam Bondi to “make publicly available in a searchable and downloadable format all unclassified records, documents, communications, and investigative materials in the possession of the Department of Justice, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation and United States Attorneys’ Offices” that have links with Epstein within 30 days of the measure becoming law.

It also says the files cannot “be withheld, delayed, or redacted” should they cause “embarrassment, reputational harm, or political sensitivity, including to any government official, public figure, or foreign dignitary.”

You and I both know that Trump is worried about this. And you and I both know why he is so worried. Exciting, isn't it...
Sure, Trump campaigned on them being released, but according to his own FBI/DOJ there’s nothing in them to incriminate anyone except Epstein. So now Dems and some repubs don’t believe the FBI/DOJ. They believe there’s a cover-up. So great, let Dems and some repubs get the House to push the DOJ to release everything what they got. If the FBI/DOJ are telling the truth all they’ll see is unsightly stuff incriminating Epstein… if they are not telling the truth they’ll see that there’s info that could incriminate others besides Epstein.

As for myself, I’m believing the FBI/DOJ just as Trump is; that there’s no info in those files that incriminates any other than a dead man, and that Epstein was never Trump's friend.

As I mentioned... I believe what the DOJ/FBI are saying is true, the stuff is too disgusting to release, will only harm the victims, and it only incriminates a dead man. But if the House can push the DOJ to release them anyway, so be it. If I've been duped and there's all this evidence that the former FBI left in there that incriminates Dems and repubs, of course I'll accept that... But I still won't throw away everything Trump has accomplished so far and urge people to support democrats.

You actually believe Dems are intelligent?
They're Schrodinger's conspiracists - not intelligent while simultaneously running the world media, infiltrating the Republican party and rigging elections.

Hey, the government has strict rules about what they can say ahead of an election.

(I mean, OK, Jim Comey can ignore that stuff if there's dirt on Hillary, but still, there are rules.)

(And for all the help he provided, he's under investigation and his daughter at DOJ got fired.)

That...won't happen. AFAIK, it's not legally possible? to run for a third term?

Someone can kindly correct me if I'm wrong...?
I believe "satire" is the word you're looking for.

The 22nd Amendment set term limits for presidents, they get two. Before the passing of the 22nd Amendment a limit of two terms was customary, but not set in law--at least partly because George Washington refused to run for a third term and so only served two terms. So it was never law, but it was customary. FDR is the only president to have served more than two terms, successfully running and winning both a third and fourth term. The idea that someone could run, indefinitely, had never been put to the test, then it was. Even if you like FDR (and I'd say I do), the idea of someone being able to run indefinitely definitely isn't great. So, the 22nd Amendment passed and was ratified in 1955.

So, right now, as long as the 22nd Amendment stands, Trump would be unable to run for a third term. The 22nd Amendment would need to be repealed for Trump to legally run gain in 2028. Emphasis on legally. This administration has demonstrated, quite flagrantly, that it has zero regard for the Constitution. So I guess we'll see what happens in 2028.

are you serious? Dems get an opportunity to trash Trump ahead of an election but choose to follow rules? If there was an emoji to show my expression in response to this I'd post it.... but I don't think there is one so I wont waste time looking

That's not the dems... that's their globalist handlers... the ones running the auto pen.... even Trump admits those are of very high intelligence.... like Satan.

Of course. As you said:

So there's nothing there. They would have released it! Yet Trump doesn't believe that.

'Trump went on to suggest that all of the files from the federal investigation into his late friend, the convicted sex offender Epstein, should not be released because they might include false information about him planted there by his Democratic rivals.'

So who do I believe. You, who has absolutely no idea what's in the files? Or the president, who can check them out any time he likes and desperately doesn't want them released. Hmm. Tough call.
