No. What you have done is posted lists of verses which you say contradict the earth being a rotating globe, but no verse in the entire bible tells us what shape the earth is.

The Bible is evidence of GOD, his love, his plan, his will and so on - not detailed information about HOW he created, or how his world works.
The writers could not write about what they didn't know and it's not the Holy Spirit's job to give insight into future discoveries.
God did not say to Joshua, "you have asked me to stop the sun; actually, it's not the sun that moves it's the earth, and in a few hundred years time someone will discover this." The miracle was that the sun did not set for 24 hours which gave the Israelites time to in the battle against their enemies.

In that case, you seem to be ignoring the fact of God doing a miracle when someone prayed and are getting obsessed with the wording that the writers used to describe it; i.e. it has to be the sun that moved, the Bible says so - so all science is wrong.

You have even said that you SEE the sun moving. No, you don't - you see it in different positions in the sky and conclude that it has moved because you don't believe/understand the alternative.

So you're saying that because the sun stood still for 24 hours, this proves the earth is flat - a 24 hour sun proves a Flat Earth?
Well that's what the group that went to Antarctica discovered/confirmed. Flat Earthers came away saying "we'll have to think again; there was a 24 hour sun." If you had been there you could have said, "this is the miracle that God did in Israel in Joshua's day; it's in the Bible." And the non Christians might have read about what God did a few thousand years before and wanted to know more about the Christian faith. You/we don't even know that the pastor who organised it didn't have that conversation with them.

But instead of that you pour scorn on their discoveries and look for ways to prove that they faked their experience.

The problem for both of you is that the exhibition proved there is a 24 hour sun at Antarctica - yet neither of you want to accept it. Dean Odel didn't take up his free place and then criticised and contradicted something he hadn't witnessed; you deny the conclusion because it does not show what you wanted it to show.

So why are you saying "the earth is flat because the sun 'stood still'" - i.e. shone for 24 hours, when Dean has said that if the sun shines for 24 hours, the earth is a globe? THAT'S why he, you and others are trying to discredit the Antarctica experiment; it proves a globe earth, and you don't want to believe it.

Like you, they said, "the sun moves across the sky and when it sets, there is darkness". They relied on what they could SEE. They didn't want the sun to set because that would bring darkness, so they asked the Lord to make it stand still. In fact, it always stood still; the earth probably stopped turning and there was daylight for 24 hours, to allow Israel time to defeat their enemies. The Lord performed a miracle.

Dean Odel has said that a 24 hour sun proves a globe earth - that is why he is trying to discredit Antarctica.
If he believed a 24 hour sun proved a flat earth, as you seem to, he'd be gloating because there is a 24 hour sun in Antarctica.

Can you highlight for me the words "flat earth", and "earth orbiting the sun" in this verse?

All it says is, "the Lord stopped the sun" - and the effect of that was daylight for 24 hours. From their perspective it seemed like the sun stopped; it was probably the earth but no one went up into space to take photos/video footage to prove what happened.

The point is, the technicalities don't matter - the Israelites were given 24 hours of daylight so they could finish their battle and defeat their enemies. The Lord was looking out for Israel and performed a miracle to show them he was on their side.
You are so obsessed with the shape of the earth - which is completely unimportant - you are completely missing the point.

The Bible does not teach the shape of the earth, whether the earth revolves around the sun or vice versa, or anything else. That is unimportant and has nothing to do with the Gospel.
The Bible says that God created the world - land, sea and sky. It says that God made humans, wanted a relationship with them, they rebelled and he persevered and did not give up on them/us. He sent Jesus to die for us, reconcile us to himself and give eternal life. We have every spiritual blessing in Christ and will never be separated from God's love.

Your arguments are like God saying "here's a £5,000,000 cheque" and you asking "what colour ink did you use to write with?"
In other words - unimportant and nothing to do with it. Forget the colour of the ink; just cash the cheque.
