Convicted felon Dinesh D'Souza has a hot take.
#1: Donald is POTUS. He can declassify things with his mind and have them released any time he likes. Nothing needs to be forced.
#2: D'Souza's stupid scenario was discussed in memes ages ago. Democrats don't need to be tricked to expose bad guys.
(I've never figured out how to embed animated gifs properly, so you just have to imagine the blue guy mashing that button for all he's worth.

DOJ, FBI release new memo on investigation to Jeffrey Epstein
Nothing to see here. No list. No murder. No further charges for anybody.A review ordered by President Donald Trump-appointed leadership of the Justice Department and the FBI found no evidence that notorious deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein kept a "client list" of associates whom he blackmailed or conspired with to victimize dozens of women, according to a new memo reviewed by ABC News.
The department has also released hours of purported footage as part of its review, which officials say further confirms Epstein died by suicide while in custody in his jail cell in Manhattan in 2019 -- contradicting conspiracy theories long embraced or spread by allies of President Trump and others.
According to the FBI and DOJ review, no further charges are expected in connection with their probes into Epstein, as investigators "did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties."

I had hope they would release the list, but didn't think they would. I guess it was all smoke and mirrors, maybe a weather balloon. Nothing to see here. Who woulda thunk that the rich and powerful from around the world and around the political, business and entertainment spectrums would get to just walk away?

Or, maybe it was just a trumped-up story in the first place to insinuate there was a list and that one's opponents were named on it. I doubt Epstein was a stupid man. One doesn't generally accumulate enough cash to own one's own island by being a dimwit. A bright person would not keep an obvious little black book naming their co-conspirators. I sure wouldn't and I'm not smart (or crooked) enough to own my own island.

I don't think perversion, corruption, evil is necessarily limited to just one political party, or one line of business. I think it is spread far and wide.
I don't know if Trump himself is in the list or not. But, there are likely enough very rich, very powerful people that had ties to Epstein that have enough influence, power and money to make the whole thing just go away. Maybe he called in some favors Maybe some of them called him and convinced him or made some deals. Maybe all of the above.
Epstein wasn't stupid - he had to have kept some records. Bondi has even said they had tapes and such along with the list. Eh - maybe it will be like that episode of Dallas and we'll wake up and it will all have been a dream.

In February 2025 Pat Bondi said on The Fox news channel, that the alleged Epstein client list was on her desk. But not she's claiming there's no list. I don't believe it. I know she wouldn't protect a Democrat. Or most people. But I bet she would protect her boss.

Trump defended Bondi in a social media post Saturday as leadership at the Justice Department and the FBI face turmoil over its handling of the Epstein probe."We have a PERFECT Administration, THE TALK OF THE WORLD, and 'selfish people' are trying to hurt it, all over a guy who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein," Trump said, encouraging unity within the Republican party.
