FYI, we should use the term Cannabis rather than "marijuana" unless we're speaking in full Spanish sentences

...Just sayin'.

Cannabis is a Latin word, which the English language often borrows from, such as the words: consensus, data, agenda, mundane, obvious, et cetera.

Nowhere does it say the kids there were being put to work.
According to the reports most of the juveniles were unaccompanied. I know one of the farmers there that ICE arrested had a prior conviction for attempted child molestation and had previously been sentenced to seven years for attempted rape and kidnapping.

Ifs and buts.

If this is true, will the Trump-voting owner of the marijuana farm face charges?

Or are only the desperate people criminals?
I expect so. Equal treatment under the law MUST be re-established or we lose our country. Republican prosecuting attorneys could use Democrat tactics, such as tie up leading Democrat politicians in their election bids with lawsuits from red states, just like was done with Trump. But eventually you lose the rule of law.

What do you mean unaccompanied? They were there with the people who work the farm who’ve now been abducted by ICE. Everyone was perfectly fine until these terrorists showed up.
Yeah I know you support people violating child labor laws. All because illegals are involved.

Okay, they were being trafficked. Cause we all know that its very typical for unaccompanied minors to be wandering around Marijuana farms. Happens all tge time right?

I don’t and I don’t know that any child labor laws were being broken but if they were then I hope the owner of the farm is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Just the same for employing illegal employees but I doubt the former police officer who owns this massive weed farm would be subject to the same kind of treatment we’re seeing with the illegal workers that are being caught up in these raids.
All because illegals are involved.
No actually it’s all because it’s happening here locally and it feels like an attack on us all from my perspective. I’m an American citizen but I’m also Hispanic which means as long as this occupation is underway, I live with a target on my back.

I looked to see what was out there on the owner and below is the latest. The company says they don't hire minors:

Well apparently they are being investigated for it. And i hope they are prosecuted for hiring illegals.

I certainly understand the concern of illegals. They are afraid if being caught. And they should be. The days of getting here illegally and living here illegally without any concerns, as if you are an Amercan citizen are over for now. Go home or get caught and sent home.

Do you work with a bunch of illegals? If not then why are you do worried?

This weed farm raid included warrants to raid. And people showed up to stop them from carrying out their duties. They all should have been arrested.

Did they, though?
The roadway was blocked by the LEOs, anyone driving by the farm would have been held up at the checkpoints.

Does anyone know what ICE has done with these minors? Are they still in detention?

Says who?

That's not happening, generally, under Trump 2.0.
We are about six months into this administration's record. There was a difference between Biden and the first Trump administration:

"Compare this to the efforts of the previous administration. In 2017, ICE conducted a mass audit of an industrial bakery in Chicago, forcing the employer to let go 800 mostly Mexican illegal aliens, which led to their replacement by American, mostly black, workers. The issue here was not that the illegal-alien workers were chained to their machines or being fed gruel — rather, it was their mere presence in the job market without authorization that was the problem.
ICE under Trump similarly went after illegal employment at Mississippi chicken plants, a trailer manufacturer in Texas, and a meatpacker in Tennessee. Not only were Americans hired to fill these jobs, but the government managed to get indictments of managers in a number of cases, despite the difficulty in doing so due to the (intentional) wording of the statute."

Right, and we know how they're detaining 1,000 illegals a day, but there's apparently been only one indictment of a business for hiring illegals in 6 months. Trump and the GOP has generally been falling over themselves to protect the farms and businesses from legal jeopardy.

I wonder if Marijuana farms are the kind of farms they are talking about.
