I choose to try and understand than act out of ignorance. By listening and showing the love and faith, which God me into, I hope to open others up to the Holy Spirit which is the that works miracles.
I make sure that the bloody body of Jesus stays real within my Spirit. Jesus showed mankind the greatest compassion and if I can't show compassion to other sinners, I have no idea what Jesus accomplished.
Maintaining that there are objective realities like maleness and femaleness that we are born into and lack the power to change is not acting in ignorance. And the threat is existential and theological, not just sociological and psychological.
Coddling them in their sin is hardly loving, the wounds of a friend are faithful, but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful. Better open rebuke than silent secret love.
Some people are born a male but show feminine tendencies as young children. The same with females. Some girls are born with the Y chromosome and have female sex organs but have high levels of testosterone.
That doesn't alter the objective reality, and allowing for the undermining of objective categories like male and female is part of a larger attack on the concept of truth.
Sure, and they deserve compassion. But compassion does not mean we have to condone them or become complicit in the destruction of defined categorical truth. There are psychological and sociological issues that require care, but letting the lunatics run the asylum is not the best approach if the goal is to restore sanity.
What? There is male and female as a physical sexual object. There are masculine and feminine identities and orientation.
Male and female are objective categories, though there is room for variability in how they express themselves. Trangenderism insists that these objective categories do not exist, because it is built on a view of the world that says what people believe to be true is true for them and that there is no such thing as categorical objective truth,
How one identifies cannot change objective facts, so a male cannot become a female even if they present themselves as masculine or feminine. To allow for such confusion is to undermine foundational elements of the Christian faith.
Hermaphrodite is also objective but there are many ways it appears in humans.
Defective biological expressions shouldn't be made into normative specimens. Sex expression is binary, even if there are variable expressions. And pointing to aberations is a poor defense for general treatment, particularly when it is being used as a means of undermining distinctive objective categories.
