The United States government has revoked its designation of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) as a foreign terrorist organization, seven months after the group overthrew Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and seized control of Damascus, drawing concern from a Christian advoacy group.

The revocation, effective Tuesday, marks a significant shift in U.S. policy toward the formerly Al-Qaeda-linked group.

The U.S. Department of State announcedthe revocation of the Foreign Terrorist Organization label under the Immigration and Nationality Act, citing the "momentum" created by President Donald Trump's June 30 Executive Order that lifted sanctions on Syria and praised the "positive actions" of the new government.

Americans, especially Christian Zionists, will blindly accept this.

I don't see how.
After what happened in Iraq, following the toppling of Saddam Hussein, I am hoping US Christians will at last realise that the instability created in the Middle East has not helped the Christian minorty there in the least bit.

They don't care about the Christians of the Middle East, they care about the Jews living in Israel more.

It's ironic: Islamic terrorists hate the US, and yet the US has indirectly helped them by creating conditions where they can rise to power.

Also ironically, my suspicion is that dropping the terrorist label from HTS was done with the goal of stabilization. Some things Trump said during the latest dust-up with Iran shows a concern of not creating a worse situation by regime change. I doubt trying to cozy up to them will help the US any, and will be surprised if it doesn't make things worse.

the US has indirectly helped them by creating conditions where they can rise to power.

While Iraq was under Baath rule, the terrorists were nowhere to be found there, the Christian community flourished and even the foreign minister was a Christian.
While Bashar Assad ruled Syria, the Christian community flourished and - again - the terrorists were absent.

After 1991, the US invades and destabilishes Iraq. Terrorists appear, Christians are persecuted and forced to leave.
After Bashar's death, US allies - Turkey and S. Arabia - destabilise Syria. The US invades the northeast.
Daesh - aka ISIS - appears, drawing logistical support from Turkey and financial support very likely from S. Arabia.
Arabs accuse the US of being behind Daesh / ISIS and hardly any American or Israeli interests are hit by them.

I would say American involvement has been more than "indirect".
