God says not keeping the Sabbath is doing evil Neh 13:17 Isa 56:2 because who is it profaning? Eze 22:26
And it was for the Israelites.
Jesus said we can still do evil on the Sabbath in the NC Luke 6:9
WE??? He was speaking the those under the law, not we.
On the flip side Jesus said keeping the Sabbath is doing justice and righteousness and He blesses us Isa 56:1-2 which justice and righteousness is the foundation of His throne Psa 89:14 and the decisions we make on all these things will be sealed once He returns Rev 22:11

So yes, not keeping the Sabbath is sin as sin is breaking God’s law 1 John 3:4 and the Sabbath is a commandment of God Deut 4:13 Exo 20:1-17 Exo 20:6 , no different than worshipping others gods or murdering our brethren James 2:11-12. So I believe when it comes to what is moral or not, best to let God decide that, not us.
It was a command given, by God, to one nation, Israel. Read all of 1Jn 3 and then use it to promote your false Gospel.

Is called context so it does matter. You can’t just make a verse say what you want just because you want it.
Agreed, and applies to us all, which is why I don't try to talk over what Jesus says or add anything to His words, because He does not need our help.

Like this example:
And Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath. The Lord can change it as He wishes.
Where did Jesus abrogate the Sabbath commandment? He made the Sabbath at Creation Exo 20:11, it was always part of His perfect will. He sanctified the Sabbath and blessed it and than wrote the 4th commandment along with His other eternal commandments with His own finger and than said Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, because He knew everyone would forget. God blessed the Sabbath and sanctified- once God blesses no man can reverse Num 23:20 so pray tell where He did so in clear language reverse His Sabbath blessing and abrogate this commandment. He instead said in His own voice the Sabbath will be kept by His faithful 40 years after He ratified His covenant, when He said it is finished- nothing can be changed after His death to His covenant. And promise the Sabbath continues for eternity for His saints Isa 66:23

Yes, the Lord can make changes as He wishes, but He clearly said He did not come to destroy the Law, but came to magnify it, which means make greater not lessor Isa 42:21. He promised He would not alter the words of His covenant Psa 89:34 not a jot or tittle. so I try not to make the Scriptures contradict His promises.

Jesus claiming He is Lord of the Sabbath means the Sabbath very much stands. And who are we to come and destroy something God said He would not. God's holy day, the holy day of the Lord Isa 58:13 Its like someone coming into your house that you are lord of and telling you to tear it down.
And since Jesus fulfilled the law He also fulfilled the Sabbath.
He fulfilled it meaning to fill-full like a wedding covenant- does that mean we can commit adultery or fulfilling it means to keep the promise. Jesus kept it as our example to follow John 15:10 Luke 4:16 1 John 2:6

Not fulfilled so we can now worship other gods or murder or break any of God's law. This is never what Jesus taught.
We are not under the law. Don’t you know that no one was ever saved by the law?
We are saved by grace through faith. Obeying God, the way God said is a fruit of our salvation and faith in Him and a consequence of our salvation Rev 14:12 Rev 22:14 not a means to it. No one who disobeys God without repenting and turning from is going to live according to what Jesus said. Heb 10:26-30 1 John 2:4 Mat 7:21-23 Rev 22:15
““Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill. For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke of a letter shall pass from the Law, until all is accomplished!
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬

When do you think is when it is accomplished?
Jesus said when all is accomplished, never said when some things are and the next verse puts this in perspective for us, or at least should

Not accomplished
Mat 24:30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His [d]elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Not accomplished
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

Not accomplished
“For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind.

Therefore this still stands why Jesus said it relates to heaven and us being there or not (judgement) not at the cross as we were not even born.

Mat 5:19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

But if you want to test the Lord that this means after His Cross we can now worship other gods, vain His holy name, bow to idols, break His holy Sabbath day, steal, covet, murder our brethren or break the least of these commandments and teach others to and no longer applies than Jesus had not needed to die if He could have just removed the law. Jesus did not teach at the Cross we are free to dishonor God by breaking God's law Rom 2:21-23, Sin Rom 7:7 Mat 5:19-30, and be an enmity to God Rom 8:7-8 and Jesus is teaching people how to be lost so He can say depart from Me, ye who practice lawlessness (without law) at His Second Coming Mat 7:23

For me, God tells us if we love Him keep His commandments Exo 20:6 Mat 14:15 as it is the love of God 1 John 5:3 and how we abide in Him John 15:10 1 John 3:24.

Jesus tells us as He is dying in the cross bring in the beginning of the new covenant. Out with the old, in with the new.
The new covenant was never established on new/better laws. It was established on better promises Heb 8:6, it still has God's laws now written on a better surface, our hearts 2 Cor 3:3 Heb 8:10 no longer based on what we do, but based on what He does in us, if we do not harden our hearts to the deceitfulness of sin. Heb 3:13 as sin is still breaking God's laws in the NC 1 John 3:4 James 2:11-12 Rom 7:7 Mat 5:19-30
“Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.”
‭‭John‬ ‭19‬:‭30‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬
Amen! The veil of the earthy temple tore and no more animal sacrifices for sin as Jesus became our Passover Lamb for sins and we can go directly to Him now in the New Covenant one of the much better promises. And when we confess our sins, He says go and sin no more as we are to confess and forsake (turn from) our sins Pro 28:13 and live a new life in Him- did Jesus break the commandments and taught anyone to? No, He taught the opposite Mat 15:3-14 Mark 7:7-13 Mat 5:19-30 Mat 19:17-19 John 14:15 so its going to be hard to make the case in my humble opinion to say I beleive in you Jesus, but not what you taught or lived to be our example 2 Peter 2:21-23 1 John 2:6 Heb 4:15

Luke 6:46 “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?

If you want to live by the law then you will have to keep all of it. Good luck with that. Here is what Paul explains:

“For all who are of works of the Law are under a curse; for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not abide by all the things written in the book of the Law, to do them.” Now, that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for, “the righteous one will live by faith.” However, the Law is not of faith; on the contrary, “The person who performs them will live by them.” Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”— in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham would come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬-‭14‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬
Yes, Paul is talking about the curses that are written in the book of the Law, which is what was placed outside the Ten Commandments in the ark of the covenant Deut 31:24-31. Jesus did take away the curse for us, but not everyone accepts His free gift by following what He asks. He doesn't ask for much, but sadly that seems to be too much for most.

I guess it will get sorted out at His soon Return. We will all have to live with our decisions Rom 6:16 Rev 22:11

16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. 17 These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.

When were Jews ever demanded to observe shadows? Why do you advocate that we now need to do what Jews have been released from doing?

As I have repeatedly written, any law dealing with morality has always been man's duty to keep.

I don't believe the Christ of the Bible teaches men to judge God's Laws as moral or not moral. And Ephesians 2 is certainly not teaching men to do so.

I also don't believe the Christ teaches of a New covenant where men are free to reject God's Righteousness and create their own righteousness, to reject God's Judgments, and create their own judgments, to reject the Feasts of the Christ, and create their own high days and their own commandments after the imaginations of their own hearts.

Perhaps there is someplace where the Bible teaches this, but it is absolutely an undeniable bible Fact that Eph. 2 doesn't teach men to do any such thing. "For we (Faithful Gentiles and Jews) are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we "should walk in them"."

The ritual laws that pertained to only one nation, Israel ended at Calvary where the New and better Covenant was ratified with the Blood of our Savior.

Again, Eph. 2:11-15 is not talking about "Gods" Laws at all, "ritual or not", according to what is actually written. You promote that it is, as is popular in many religious sects of this world, "who come in Christ's Name". But it's not, according to what is written.

Yes, many of the "Commandments of men" that the "Circumcision", AKA "the Pharisees", taught for doctrines, were ritual, as it is written; "For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.,

But these were not "God's" commandments and Ordinances.

9 And he said unto them, Full well "ye reject" the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

It was the promoters of this religion, that called Faithful Gentiles, "The Uncircumcision", in Eph. 2: And it was their "commandments of men" that relegated Faithful Gentiles as without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

We are warned all over the Bible about this very thing.

Jer. 50:6 My people hath been lost sheep: "their shepherds" have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace.

Jer. 23: 16 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD.

Matt. 24: 4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I (Jesus) am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Jesus nailed to His Cross Centuries of deception, false doctrines and commandments of men that had led men astray for years, and warned us to Take Heed of the promoters of this world's religions, "who profess to know God", lest we are deceived by the same spirit.

I have asked Clare for something, even ONE Law of God where HE judges men by the DNA they were born with. Just ONE LAW where a Non-Jew who turns to Him, and joins themselves to Him is relegated as "without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world".

But he hides from the Light that would answer the question for him. I will ask you questions as well, and see if you will answer.

"According to God's Law, Who is to be considered a Homeborn Israelite"?

Are you positive? Some laws kept them apart. How could they become a special people if they mingled with Gentiles?

Bob, all I advocate is to read and discuss what is actually written and ask and answer questions in search of the Truth Paul is promoting here.

"Who was calling the Faithful Gentiles "The Uncircumcised" in Eph. 2?

Was it Paul?

Phil. 3:3 For we (Faithful Jew and Gentile) are the circumcision, which "worship God" in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

No, it wasn't Paul.

Was it God?

Is. 56: 6 Also the sons of the stranger, (Non-Jew) that "join themselves (Yield themselves) to the LORD", to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; 7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

No, it wasn't God.

Or was it the religious rulers of the Temple, the mainstream religion "who professed to know God", in the City of David in Jesus' Time?

Matt. 15: 7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, 8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

It's a valid and relevant question.

Ex 19:5-6. 5 Now if "you obey me fully" and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, 6 you] will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites.”

  1. Lev. 19: 33 And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, "ye shall not vex him". 34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you "as one born among you", and "thou shalt love him" as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

How can the Jews be "obeying God" fully, if they relegate a Faithful to HIM Non-Jew, AKA a Faithful Gentile, as "without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world".

If an Egyptian joined himself to and sojourned with Israel, was baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; And did all eat the same spiritual meat; And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

Was he not cleansed in the same way a Jew who left Israel was cleansed? Is he not then considered an Israelite just as a biological Jew? And who God has cleansed, let no man call "without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world".

Yes Bob, because I believe all that is written, I am sure it wasn't God or God's Laws that relegated Faithful Gentiles as "without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world".

There were Commandments and Ordinances placed on the necks of men that promoted such a philosophy, Jesus and the Prophets speak to this all over the Scriptures, but as the Scriptures clearly show, it wasn't God's Commandments and Laws. Rather, it was the Commandments of men the corrupted Priesthood of that time taught for doctrines.

It's right there in your own Bible.

Lets bring in the context...

Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Was the weekly Sabbath against and contrary to man?

Jesus said the Sabbath was made for man Mark 2:27

God made man on the sixth day of Creation, in God's image, the weekly Sabbath started at Creation Exo 20:11 right after God made man- so with this interpretation- it paints God as someone who was against man from Creation, its really an attack on His holy character. God said He made the Sabbath as a blessing Isa 56:2 so He can sanctify us Eze 20:12 because man can't sanctify themselves Isa 66:17, we need God. How is the holy day of the Lord thy God, that Jesus is Lord of be contrary and against? Its really a very sad teaching what man has done to God's Sabbath, that He sanctified and is holy and blessed by God.

There is more than one Sabbath in the Scriptures and Paul was so careful to show which sabbath(s) they were, about food, drink, offerings that has nothing to do with the weekly Sabbath but the yearly feast days that some were sabbath(s) that were handwritten by Moses (not written by the finger of God Exo 31:18) placed outside the ark of the covenant that was there a witness against Deut 31:24-26 The weekly Sabbath can't be a shadow of anything because it started at Creation, where there was no need for a plan of salvation, that did not come until after the fall.

Heb 10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
Heb 10:2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
Heb 10:3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
Heb 10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
Heb 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
Heb 10:6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
Heb 10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
Heb 10:8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
Heb 10:9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

Plus this interpretation goes against what Jesus said would happen after the Cross Mat 24:20 Isa 66:23 and even what Paul believed and followed Acts 17:2 Acts 15:21 Acts 13:42 Acts 13:44 Acts 18:4 etc because God's people keep God's commandments Rev 14:12. Paul's writings did come with a serious warning through 2 Peter 3:16

Wrong, it does not state that the weekly Sabbath started on the day God rested. That is a complete falsehood.
right after God made man- so with this interpretation- it paints God as someone who was against man from Creation, its really an attack on His holy character.
Where in the World did you come up with that?
God said He made the Sabbath as a blessing Isa 56:2 so He can sanctify us
Not us SB, it all pertained to Israel. God, according to historical facts, never asked any of the remainder of His children around the World to observe the Sabbath.. It was only given to Israel.
Eze 20:12 because man can't sanctify themselves Isa 66:17, we need God. How is the holy day of the Lord thy God, that Jesus is Lord of be contrary and against? Its really a very sad teaching what man has done to God's Sabbath, that He sanctified and is holy and blessed by God.
I can think of one big reason. Everyone who was given the requirement broke it. When an Israelite broke any one of the laws, they were condemned. I certainly couldn't keep the Sabbath according to Is58:13. Somehow I couldn't keep from having other thoughts, and according what came out of everyone else's mouth, they couldn't keep it either. We all just give lip service. Israel failed so why is it that you tell everyone to do something you are not able to do nor is it a requirement to do?

Your statement is so confusing. Yes, there is more than one Sabbath, and Paul named them in the verse. They were the feast days, and as best as I can remember, they were all called Sabbaths. Paul also said not to judge us for not celebrating the new moon. Then Paul went on to name another Sabbath not to be judged. As best as I can remember, the only other Sabbath mentioned in the laws of the Old Covenant was the weekly Sabbath. If this is wrong, then please inform me of another Sabbath.

Not everyone broke the Sabbath commandment. Where is that verse?

Many of the Israelites went after their own idols too, does God lower His standard of righteousness to us, or does He lift those who have a willing heart and hear His voice to Him. I believe it’s the latter. I guess we will all find out soon enough at His return.

Exo 20:11 For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

Exo 20:10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates.

I am going to believe the personal written and spoken Testimony of God. Exo 31:18

Agreed, and applies to us all, which is why I don't try to talk over what Jesus says or add anything to His words, because He does not need our help.

Like this example:

There is no commandment to keep the Sabbath in the new covenant. In fact the Sabbath is not commanded but it is a matter of spiritual freedom and we are not to judge any Christian regardless if they choose to keep it or not.

Paul teaches:

“Therefore, no one is to act as your judge in regard to food and drink, or in respect to a festival or a new moon, or a Sabbath day— things which are only a shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬

“One person values one day over another, another values every day the same. Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭14‬:‭5‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬

He fulfilled it meaning to fill-full like a wedding covenant- does that mean we can commit adultery or fulfilling it means to keep the promise. Jesus kept it as our example to follow John 15:10 Luke 4:16 1 John 2:6

Not fulfilled so we can now worship other gods or murder or break any of God's law. This is never what Jesus taught.

My brother ALL of the law has been fulfilled. If we are under any of the law then we are still in our sins and Jesus sacrifice was in vain. You say that we are saved by grace through faith but you forget that grace is absolutely free. No one can work to get what is already free. Paul spends almost 5 chapters in Romans contrasting walking under the law versus walking in the Spirit.

Paul explains justification which means that those who are unrighteous in themselves are nevertheless declared righteous before God while still in the sinning state. This happens by the grace of God through faith.

“So then, as through one offense the result was condemnation to all mankind, so also through one act of righteousness the result was justification of life to all mankind. For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous. The Law came in so that the offense would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, as sin reigned in death, so also grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭18‬-‭21‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬

The Paul explains sanctification which is the continual process by which God is actually making a person righteous. Sanctification is the deliverance from the power of sin and is a present and continuous process of believers becoming Christlike, accomplished by the Holy Spirit’s power and presence.

“But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were entrusted, and after being freed from sin, you became slaves to righteousness. I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented the parts of your body as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness, resulting in further lawlessness, so now present your body’s parts as slaves to righteousness, resulting in sanctification.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭17‬-‭19‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬

As you continue to read Paul’s words at the end of chapter 7. As Paul conflicting about trying to serve two masters with one of them being the law of sin. Notice the last sentence.

“I find then the principle that evil is present in me, the one who wants to do good. For I joyfully agree with the law of God in the inner person, but I see a different law in the parts of my body waging war against the law of my mind, and making me a prisoner of the law of sin, the law which is in my body’s parts. Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, on the one hand I myself with my mind am serving the law of God, but on the other, with my flesh the law of sin.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭7‬:‭21‬-‭25‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬

At the beginning of chapter 8 Paul then reaches and explains his conclusions. Notice the “therefore”. Also notice the first sentence. There is now NO condemnation for all of those IN Christ Jesus.

“Therefore there is now no condemnation at all for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are in accord with the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭1‬-‭5‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬

As believers we walk in the Spirit not in the law of the flesh. The Spirit now guides our lives and condemn us appropriately as we continue to live in a sinful body during our process of sanctification.

This is quite long and it addresses the rest of your post. Please do bring anything that I missed.

There's a lot out of context here but I do not believe sharing more context like reading a bit further in Rom 8:7-8 or the fact that there is no Scripture that says the Sabbath is not one of God's commandments in the NC, when it plainly says it is Luke 23:56 and shown keeping by every close follower of Jesus and He Himself keeping and showing how it is to be kept in the NC, who is our example.

You seem to be settled in your belief system and I know no one will convince me that the Sabbath is not one of God's commandments, when He wrote it and spoke it and claimed them as His Exo 20:6 Duet 4:13 Heb 8:10 so I will just agree to disagree and all gets sorted out at His soon return.

Be well.

lol Nothing here is out of context. Paul’s teachings here are clear. I exhort you to live in the Spirit and not in the law of the flesh and do not judge Christians that do not keep the sabbath. Follow scripture.

BTW- Exodus 20:6 and Deut 4:13 refer to Israel not Christians. Heb 8:10 if from a prophesy in Jer 31 and is directed at Judah and Israel not Christians.

You be well also.

In the New Covenant Heb 8:10 there is no Greek or Jew, just God's people grafted in by faith Gal 3:26-29 because God's people keep God's law (His version) through faith and love Rev 14:12 1 John 5:3 and this is the faith that reconciles us Rev 22:14. I personally wouldn't want to write myself out of God's Covenant Promise, but we all have free will.

I don't believe the Christ of the Bible teaches men to judge God's Laws as moral or not moral.
All of God's laws were moral versus being immoral. That is not the point. Not all of the laws given to Israel dealt with morality. Some dealt with civil duty, some laws dealt with rituals, and some dealt wiith health.
And Ephesians 2 is certainly not teaching men to do so.
I don't remember anyone saying Eph is teaching that. The law was full of rituals that pertained only to Israel. Jesus ended it so that Gentiles and Jews can live together in harmony.
I also don't believe the Christ teaches of a New covenant where men are free to reject God's Righteousness and create their own righteousness, to reject God's Judgments, and create their own judgments, to reject the Feasts of the Christ, and create their own high days and their own commandments after the imaginations of their own hearts.
What are the feasts of Jesus? I never heard that one. Do I detect that you are against Christmas and Easter both commerating Jesus?
Perhaps there is someplace where the Bible teaches this, but it is absolutely an undeniable bible Fact that Eph. 2 doesn't teach men to do any such thing. "For we (Faithful Gentiles and Jews) are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we "should walk in them"."
Who is indicating that Eph is teaching anything derogatory to the Gospel?

Well, you got all that off your chest. It is evident you will not chage your mind that Jesus took away the commands that kept Jews and Gentiles apart, so I think we might as well part company on that issue.
Bob, all I advocate is to read and discuss what is actually written and ask and answer questions in search of the Truth Paul is promoting here.

"Who was calling the Faithful Gentiles "The Uncircumcised" in Eph. 2?

Was it Paul?
by those who call themselves “the circumcision”
As it should have always been, but being God's chosen made them feel superior to the Gentiles. Israel broke the covenant God gave them and now every Jew comes to Jesus the same way we Gentiles do. There is no Sinai covenant today; all are under the New and Better covenant of Grace.

In the New Covenant Heb 8:10 there is no Greek or Jew, just God's people grafted in by faith Gal 3:26-29.
“For if that first covenant had been free of fault, no circumstances would have been sought for a second. For in finding fault with the people, He says, “Behold, days are coming, says the Lord, When I will bring about a new covenant With the house of Israel and the house of Judah, Not like the covenant which I made with their fathers On the day I took them by the hand To bring them out of the land of Egypt; For they did not continue in My covenant, And I did not care about them, says the Lord. “For this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel After those days, declares the Lord: I will put My laws into their minds, And write them on their hearts. And I will be their God, And they shall be My people. “And they will not teach, each one his fellow citizen, And each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ For they will all know Me, From the least to the greatest of them. “For I will be merciful toward their wrongdoings, And their sins I will no longer remember.” When He said, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. But whatever is becoming obsolete and growing old is about to disappear.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭8‬:‭7‬-‭13‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬

““Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, not like the covenant which I made with their fathers on the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them,” declares the Lord. “For this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the Lord: “I will put My law within them and write it on their heart; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. They will not teach again, each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the Lord, “for I will forgive their wrongdoing, and their sin I will no longer remember.””
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭31‬:‭31‬-‭34‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬

Look familiar? Once again Paul explains the role of Israel when the gentiles are grafted into the tree. Israel will continue in the law while the gentiles will walk in the Spirit. The New Covenant is specific to both, those that believe in Christ and the remnant of Israel which remain in the law but God will eventually save.
I personally wouldn't want to write myself out of God's Covenant Promise, but we all have free will.
Does man have free will to stop sinning?

Not everyone broke the Sabbath commandment. Where is that verse?

Many of the Israelites went after their own idols too, does God lower His standard of righteousness to us, or does He lift those who have a willing heart and hear His voice to Him. I believe it’s the latter. I guess we will all find out soon enough at His return.
Where is the verse that tells us they kept it perfectly? Had Israel kept the commands of the covenant, they would today be: 5 Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, 6 you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites.” Ex 19

Yes, the Covenant was made to Israel. God never made a covenant with Gentiles. Israel just represents God’s people. In the NC Israel is no longer Israel of those who are born through heritage (flesh) Rom 9:6 now everyone who is part of God’s covenant promise is grafted in His covenant through faith Gal 3:26-29 And His covenant has God’s laws Heb 8:10- His version not what man has reduced it to when God promised He would not Psa 89:34 Mat 5:18

No one is walking in the Spirit by breaking God's laws, like Jews can only worship God, but Gentiles don't have to, or Jews shouldn't murder their brethern, but Gentiles can, this is a big deception and considered walking in the flesh (sin) Rom 8:7-8. God's Spirit is given to help us keep God's laws, not break them.

Joh 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments.
Joh 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—
Joh 14:17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
Joh 14:18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

1Jn 3:24 Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

Joh 15:10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love.
1Jn 2:6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
Act 5:32 And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him."

Why the Holy Spirit is calling us daily our of our sin and rebellion to God if we hear His voice.

Heb 3:7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: "TODAY, IF YOU WILL HEAR HIS VOICE,
Heb 3:8 DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS AS IN THE REBELLION, IN THE DAY OF TRIAL IN THE WILDERNESS,
Heb 3:9 WHERE YOUR FATHERS TESTED ME, TRIED ME, AND SAW MY WORKS FORTY YEARS.
Heb 3:10 THEREFORE I WAS ANGRY WITH THAT GENERATION, AND SAID, 'THEY ALWAYS GO ASTRAY IN THEIR HEART, AND THEY HAVE NOT KNOWN MY WAYS.'
Heb 3:11 SO I SWORE IN MY WRATH, 'THEY SHALL NOT ENTER MY REST.' "
Heb 3:12 Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God;
Heb 3:13 but exhort one another daily, while it is called "TODAY," lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

God does not force or want anyone to sin. 1 John 2:1 which is breaking God's law 1 John 3:4 James 2:11-12 We can choose to tell the truth or to lie, or choose to murder our brethren or not. God is not the author of sin 1 John 3:8 so yes, we have free will to sin or not. We all struggle with sin, but through Jesus we can overcome if we do not harden our hearts to His call. Sadly, many people love their sin (darkness) more than they have love for Jesus John 3:19-21 John 14:15 1 John 5:3 Exo 20:6

All of God's laws were moral versus being immoral. That is not the point. Not all of the laws given to Israel dealt with morality. Some dealt with civil duty, some laws dealt with rituals, and some dealt wiith health.

Yes, the "Way of the Lord" that the Jesus "of the bible" and Paul, and the Church of God under His Prophesied New Priesthood Covenant walked in, and taught others to "walk in", are moral. They define God's Righteousness, they define "Holiness" so that we can "Yield ourselves" to God, as Paul teaches, and be Holy for HE is Holy, as we are also instructed to be.

This Lord who defines theses things, AKA, "The Christ" who led Israel out of Sin (Egypt,) became flesh in the person of Jesus, at least according to scriptures.

I don't remember anyone saying Eph is teaching that. The law was full of rituals that pertained only to Israel. Jesus ended it so that Gentiles and Jews can live together in harmony.

Eph. 2 isn't talking about the Commandments or Ordinances that God gave Israel. That is the deception, the insidious lie. The teaching that it does is one of many lies and falsehoods being promoted by this world's religious system, "Who call Jesus Lord, Lord". Jesus and Paul both warn us about these deceivers "who come in Christ's Name".

This is the reason for my reply, to show that according to Scriptures, the teaching that it was God's Laws that He gave to Israel that relegated Faithful Gentiles as "without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world" is an insidious lie, based on what is actually written in Eph. 2.

You keep insisting that it was God's Laws HE gave to Israel, as do "many" who call Jesus Lord, Lord, that caused the wall of separation between Faithful Jews as being "without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world". But when a person actually studies the bible, and actually reads God's Laws concerning Non-Jews who turn to Him, this popular doctrine is exposed as a lie.

I wanted to show others the truth about Eph. 2, because it seems important to know the truth rather than philosophies and religious traditions of men. Which was also part of Paul's teaching in his other epistles.

Col. 2: 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments "of the world", and not after Christ.

What are the feasts of Jesus? I never heard that one.

This doesn't surprise me and is why I left the religion, that you have adopted and are now promoting, so many years ago. But according Paul, it was the "Christ" who was the Holy One of Israel, who taught them in the way that they should go.

1 Cor. 10: 1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat; 4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

Lev. 23: 1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts. 3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings. 4 These are the feasts "of the LORD", even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.

And it was this Christ who came to earth and dwelled among men,

The Jesus "of the bible" even tells men that HE is Lord "even of the Sabbath Days". But like HE said:

Matt. 15: 8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Do I detect that you are against Christmas and Easter both commerating Jesus?

I'm not interested in the image of God after the likeness of man being promoted by this world's religious system, nor do I care about the high days they created in worship of this image. I know they are important for the economy of many countries, and truly "the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through" them. While the Feasts of the Christ are rejected, despised and promoted as unworthy of respect and honor by "Many" who come in Christ's Name".

But I don't want to get distracted from the discussion about whose Commandments and Ordinances that Jesus made a show of openly, that HE nailed to the cross, that relegated Faithful Gentiles as "without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world"
Who is indicating that Eph is teaching anything derogatory to the Gospel?

Certainly not me.

Well, you got all that off your chest. It is evident you will not chage your mind that Jesus took away the commands that kept Jews and Gentiles apart, so I think we might as well part company on that issue.

Can you show me one place in my posts where I said Jesus didn't expose and nail to His Cross the Commandments and Ordinances that relegated Faithful Gentiles as "without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world"? Of course you can't, because it's a lie.

This is why it is so frustrating to try and have an honest discussion with you.

So again, for the umpteenth time, the issue here is "WHOSE" Commandments and ordinances relegated faithful Gentiles as "without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world"?

You, Clare73, and "many" who profess to know God, preach to anyone who will listen to you, that it was God and HIS Commandments and Ordinances that relegated Faithful Gentiles as "without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world"

But Paul is saying that it was the Pharisees AKA, "The Circumcision, made with hands" whose commandments and ordinances they taught for doctrines, relegated Faithful Gentiles as "without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world".

I want others reading along to read for themselves what Paul actually says in Eph. 2, and also read what God's Commandment actually teaches about Faithful Gentiles.

Lev. 19: 33 And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him. 34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be "unto you" as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

This is the Biblical Truth Bob. This is why you can't find any Commandment or ordinance written anywhere in the Law and Prophets that relegated a faithful Non-Jew of any nation, as "without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world".

Because it wasn't God or His Laws that were the problem, it was the mainstream preachers of that time, who were "teaching for doctrines the commandments "of men"."

As it should have always been, but being God's chosen made them feel superior to the Gentiles.

So in your religion, Caleb and Joshua and Abraham and Isaiah, David and Zacharias, Simeon and Anna, regarded themselves as "Superior" to Faithful Non-Jews?

Bob, who is teaching you this crap, certainly not the Christ "of the Bible"?

Israel broke the covenant God gave them and now every Jew comes to Jesus the same way we Gentiles do.
There is no Sinai covenant today; all are under the New and Better covenant of Grace.

Let's stick to accepting the truth about Whose Commandments and Ordinances relegated Faithful Gentiles as "without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world".

Then we can fellowship about the New Priesthood VS. the Old Priesthood.

And yet He has a people who overcame
Was Abraham saved because of his perfect works or by God's grace because of Abraham's faith? No one has ever been saved because they "overcame" sin. All have been saved because they believed and were saved by their faith.
1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
Not because they pulled themselves up by their own bootstraps.
But sadly just a remnant Rev 12:17
I know you have been approached many times as to what God's commands consist. Which ones are we responsible for keeping? Why are you interpreting verse 17 as being only a remnant? If keeping God's commands is the ticket to eternal life, then all the prepared mansions will be empty.

No one is saved by keeping God's laws- keeping God's laws is a consequence of our salvation, not a means to it.

Just like for Abraham

Gen 26: 5 because Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.”

Just like for us

Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

Being in rebellion to God and His laws never saved anyone. And it won't us either. Heb 10:26-30 Mat 7:21-23 John 2:4 Rev 22:15

Same choices

Deut 30:15 “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, 16 in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess. 17 But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them, 18 I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess. 19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; 20 that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”

Choose life

Rev 22:14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. Compared to Rev 22:15 1 John 2:4
