I finished replaying Deus Ex, what an amazing game. Very thought provoking too in areas. Now I'm on to replaying System Shock 2, another stellar game.
We share a taste. In the spirit of those, I should get around to finally playing Prey properly. For some reason I probably have to force myself to commit to it.

I've been playing Zelda: The Minish Cap. Definitely an underrated Zelda game, and one of the more unique ones, in my opinion.

Also been bouncing around Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong-Quest (never 100%ed it or DKC 1 and 3, believe it or not), Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, and Donkey Kong Country Returns HD/Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze the past few months.

I didn't like Pokemon Generation 7 (Sun & Moon) at all.
I thought Generation 8 (Sword & Shield) was an improvement, but still kind of frustrated w/ it all.

Generation 9 (Scarlet & Violet) was what I was wanting. I am pretty far into it. It's my favorite Pokemon game since the original DS era. It has that addictiveness to it the past 2 generations haven't. Pokemon is fun again. I really like the open-world of it all.

That was my 1st one! :)
It's still a great game
What spurred you to play it?

Honestly, it was mainly because I don't think I've 100%ed it.

Another one that I've been slowly chugging through is Skyward Sword HD, though I'm moreso trying to get to Hero Mode as soon as possible so that I can start my "real" playthrough (I defeated the final boss in the original Wii version.) It's a bummer that players can't just jump right into Hero Mode like with Wind Waker HD (or so I've heard; been a while since I played it.)

A third one which I've been playing more recently, however, is Final Fantasy VII (with texture/performance mods; made it up to the railroad tracks right before getting to the Gold Saucer.)

Interestingly I think that dungeon with the railroad tracks you speak of, Mt. Corel, is probably my favorite dungeon to go through in the entire game. I especially love the cheery music there, and the beautiful first screen of the entire mountain dungeon, when you are sort of heading up a hill towards a brightly sunlit horizon. ^-^
