I finished replaying Deus Ex, what an amazing game. Very thought provoking too in areas. Now I'm on to replaying System Shock 2, another stellar game.
We share a taste. In the spirit of those, I should get around to finally playing Prey properly. For some reason I probably have to force myself to commit to it.

I've been playing Zelda: The Minish Cap. Definitely an underrated Zelda game, and one of the more unique ones, in my opinion.

Also been bouncing around Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong-Quest (never 100%ed it or DKC 1 and 3, believe it or not), Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, and Donkey Kong Country Returns HD/Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze the past few months.

I didn't like Pokemon Generation 7 (Sun & Moon) at all.
I thought Generation 8 (Sword & Shield) was an improvement, but still kind of frustrated w/ it all.

Generation 9 (Scarlet & Violet) was what I was wanting. I am pretty far into it. It's my favorite Pokemon game since the original DS era. It has that addictiveness to it the past 2 generations haven't. Pokemon is fun again. I really like the open-world of it all.

That was my 1st one! :)
It's still a great game
What spurred you to play it?

Honestly, it was mainly because I don't think I've 100%ed it.

Another one that I've been slowly chugging through is Skyward Sword HD, though I'm moreso trying to get to Hero Mode as soon as possible so that I can start my "real" playthrough (I defeated the final boss in the original Wii version.) It's a bummer that players can't just jump right into Hero Mode like with Wind Waker HD (or so I've heard; been a while since I played it.)

A third one which I've been playing more recently, however, is Final Fantasy VII (with texture/performance mods; made it up to the railroad tracks right before getting to the Gold Saucer.)

Interestingly I think that dungeon with the railroad tracks you speak of, Mt. Corel, is probably my favorite dungeon to go through in the entire game. I especially love the cheery music there, and the beautiful first screen of the entire mountain dungeon, when you are sort of heading up a hill towards a brightly sunlit horizon. ^-^

I don't think I've made it to Mt. Corel's "dungeon" yet, but I went straight from the path at Corel to the Gold Saucer (yes, I saw the adorable birbs and snatched the 10 Phoenix Downs.)

I loved that game so much. Have you played the dlc yet?

Not yet, got it via Xbox game pass which did not include it. I am thinking about outright purchasing it on Steam with the DLC.

Cursing in the Scottish accent sounds amazing.

If you like psychological horror and own a PS4 , I recommend Bloodborne which is a souls game, but starts off as Victorian horror and morphs into Lovecraftian horror.

Great atmosphere and art. My favorite souls game, I like it better than Elden Ring.

Bro ....

I need to hire you as my decorator for the next place I move to, to make a game cave like this one. ^_^
oh well, that is very nice of you. It took me a few years to get this all put together but since this picture was taken a few things have been added to the set-up.

These are the items that have been added within the last few months:

Philips Hue 75" Play Gradient Lightstrip - For the back of the TV
Govee - RGBIC LED Neon Rope Light for Desks 6.5ft - For the Table in the center of the room
Govee - RGBIC Curtain Lights - For 2 areas in the man-cave media rooms

I don't have an updated picture for the Curtain Lights but they do look amazing and I am able to program different animations into each of them to showcase almost anything from many gaming titles. Right now I have Castlevania Symphany of The Night with the castle and the moon in the background on one of them.

Here is a picture of the set-up with the 6.5 foot LED neon rope under the table in the center under the table

I will upload several pictures of the final set-up on here when I am able so you can see the final results ok ;)
