The situation is being deescalated. Iran, as always, will continue to go after Israel and the United States, but now without nuclear weapons and with 90% less ballistic missiles. We still have over 1200 Iranians that Joe Biden let into our country, but if we can convince sanctuary cities and their allies to help we can find them.

Taking out the means of enriching uranium for weapons isn't regime change.

As it happens, Trump seems to hold the same opinion. In the usual confusion after such it's next to impossible to be sure, but Trump supposedly worries what would replace the Iranian ayatollahs could be something worse. Supposedly what happened in Libya with the removal of Khaddaffi came up. Supposedly. Apply grains of salt as needed.

US hits Iran; Iran hits at US interests. Not having an Iranian mindset can't grasp the reasoning beyond wild speculation. Supposedly tie Iranians contacted the US first. I don't know. Really the same old, same old. Where it goes from here is another question.
