Healing is always done through His Holy Spirit. This is how our Father, through Jesus Christ of Nazareth interacts with those who love Him. Angels are never to be conjured.

Some good responses here. All I will add is for your own healing the need to recognize your own authority that God has given you in the name of Jesus and your position in Christ. Regarding your position, you are a child of God, a joint heir of Jesus. None of the angels can say that. Still, they can be messengers or ministering spirits sent from heaven but angels are not exercising their own will but rather the will of God. So channeling/praying etc. to them is a downgrade to your own position that can go straight to God. What angel has the power to forgive sin? none, What angel can act highly independently from God? none, except demons. So a born again believer has an interesting position in God.
Hebrews 2:14-16 says, “Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham.”
So how is healing really achieved? By faith, and that faith comes from hearing and hearing by the word of God. Hearing is not just reading the bible, it is the rhema or the spoken word of God. At some point as you focus on God hear from Him and it is that hearing that helps bring healing. One could make the case that Paul's thorn was a denial of healing but it is unknown for certain what that thorn was plus Paul was humbled because of the great revelation he was receiving so that really should not apply to many of us. I will admit too that some healings require miracles, like the blind being able to see. Angels are present in some healings. One of my former pastors relays a story where his wife saw the angel come into the room and touch the pastor, bringing him healing. But the angel was the messenger, it was God responding to a man's faith that caused the healing.
In short, it is good to respect angels but why not just go to the top and learn about Jesus and the authority and faith that can come from Him and the word of God? Who as a man, lower than Satan openly showed that he could defeat Satan as a man. And having done that raised man to a position that was higher than angels.
Of course no man has all knowledge in this but I am glad you have veered from this woman and will begin to mature in the things of God. In any given instance, you yourself can achieve faith for almost anything as you seek and God gives that to you. Unlike many contemporaries though you can't just claim it, demand it or even work for it without God giving the increase. What you can do is throw yourself at the feet of Jesus and learn what He is going to teach you. Take that mustard seed of faith and bring it to a full grown tree in the areas of your life that Jesus wants to touch, which includes physical healing. God bless you on your journey.

Be very careful about these kinds of things, they take many forms in the world. Also, I've had people close to me who wanted to contact dead relatives who they were told are "there to help" and had to show people these things are all the same trick.

What they have all said here so far is true, this is a war we are in and many people are trying to make their own version of Heaven on Earth. We are simply not there yet, we are still in a war.

I think God allowed it to happen so that you would never forget or consider anything like it again, as a way of protecting you. Many people who go for a "reading" or "consultation" with individuals like this end up with demonic hitchhikers and go too deep before realizing what is going on. They often lose much more than 300 dollars and their lives are even sometimes destroyed. Instead God protected you and gave you a lesson you could very easily remember.

That urge in you to warn others and the experience you have gained through the situation may very well be an indication that He wants you to help people not fall victim to such things and to do that we have to tell other people about the Gospel, the Good News of Jesus Christ, as it is the only way they will learn the warnings from God's Word.

I've learned God puts on our hearts things that are in His heart when we are seeking after Him, and while this could have been a curse, it looks to me He is making it into a blessing for you.

It's either 2 things:
the person is a conman
or
the person will interact w/ the supernatural & you will end up being worse off in the long-run

This person is trying to make $$$ by promising you a supernatural miracle from God. The Bible would call it witchcraft.

This isn't how God works. He's more interested in making you holy. He has sent his angels to do that. Also not only are angels messengers, they are warriors to protect us from wickedness

Yes, a Psychic may be practicing a form of witchcraft and divination, or, as others have said, is just conning people.

As someone that was in the new age occult and came out, I am familiar with all that.
I can clearly say it is demonic. In the bible it say satan comes as an angel of light, seeking to decieve. It says in the bible it is appointed for us to die, then judgement. In other words, what they are recieving, they recieve from demons and fallen angels. The fallen angels fell from grace when they rebelled from God wanting to take Gods place. they went down to earth and mated with human women, in the time before Noah, genesis 6 in the bible also see book of Enoch. (definitely see that one it comes in on this) and they created off spring, tall gigants monsters that eventually eat people. Many died in the flood of Noah that God sent to rescue Noah and his family, but the rest of everyone died however some escaped and the bible say it was nephilim after the flood too. when they died, they became demons.

In the bible God warns about psychics, mediums, sooth sayers, channelers and the like. God viped out whole people that worshipped false idols,gods and did these things and it says clearly there must not be found anyone amongst you that do these things for these things are an abomination to the Lord. what I mentioned.
In acts, Paul drives out a demon from a servant girl that was a psychic. she lost her abilites.Many christians have experienced the same.

what is more worrying is that you can become possessed, oppressed and infestation of demons by doing these things. I highly recommend Father Carlos Martins on youtube, the exorcist files real life stories. people that have done these things too. I recommend Father Rehill youtube.

I will tell you, I was involved in psychic and medium and all that I got a spirit in my apartment by doing so, a shadow figure appeared on my bedroom wall outside,and it did not move it was there ALL the time. My tv went on and off by itself. I have a friend her sister lived in an apartment where she did all kinds of stuff, and that apartment was haunted, as well. She developed all kinds of health issues after living there. One day she called me, and she start to talk backwards in tounge. I cast it out in the name of Jesus and immediately it stopped. she did not even remember.

I went to psychics and I got problems with aliens because of it every night same time,and saw a lot of crafts. Fr Carlos Martins say you can have visitations like that after visiting a psychic. they all say you can, and had examples of people getting issues from just one visit.

Jesus saved me from the entities. they never returned but evaporated.

Saul, of king Davids time, went to a medium. one that talk to angels one can say. God actually let up the real Samuel that he wanted to speak to, but normally God never do this. the dead are in heaven or hell never to be seen. But God made an exception and Samuel asked Saul why he was doing what he was doing when it was against God! and very soon Saul died

If you are in need of help look into christian counseling or better help it is online and affordable rates reduced rates. the best one can do for themselves. Or you can talk to me, I know a lot of psychology and will study it other than that I recommend psychoanalytical therapist Carl Jung on youtube and Alice Miller. journaling helps too making patterns and the un conscious in the subconscious conscious.
