I believe there is still hope. Perhaps even if these events have happened, perhaps The Lord will prevent them from going down that road. I hope at least
All the saints and holy elders have emphasized repentance, stay close to the Church and God. Pray. It's actually important to know these things so that we prepare ourselves in working to be closer to God, continued prayers, and repentance.
Christ will give the world a slap, which is allowing the war to happen. It's because of our collective sins that it has led to this, and He can't override our free will. St. John the Russian said there has to be a war to save the children who are heading toward spiritual death being in bondage to Satan. His words, not mine. However, this will be the last time God intervenes with these "slaps" and purging and starting, so to speak, again.
According to the Saints and Elders, we should be aware so that we repent and stay close to God and prepare for leaving this earth some day. And especially when we're in the middle of an unfolding (and one fulfilled so far) prophecy.
Well yes we still have free will. What I’m saying is hopefully there will be a steering away from these events due to softening of hearts or repentance (see Old Testament where repentance prevented destruction) etc. I don’t know but I try and hope.
