There was stairs now we live in a one story and I am in the back and the sound is more insulated back here. In the other house the main place for the tv it was right in line and clear view from the stairs. The walls were thin and you could hear everything from upstairs.

The kitchen was positioned so you're staring straight at the tv still, even main counter while or meal prepping. I remember tv shows like I love Lucy, where the tv and the living room and the kitchen had a door on it! It was a whole separate room! I am in the back, and the kitchen is off to the side. It's much nicer.

Older houses had quirky designs. I Love Lucy is a classic, so I have to get the DVD of it from the library, when I am done with Star Trek DS9 and Vindication (a Christian crime drama). For myself, I live alone in a condo, so I do not have to worry about other folks.

Sorry, hadn't checked this in awhile I've been keeping up with some influencers on social tech, I have not heard of Vindication so I will have to check it out, I can not afford to live in a condo I am on Disability, my alternative would make me anxious and unable to keep up, hence the Disability

Sorry, haven't checked this in awhile. I loved the older house. I got a increasingly afraid of the stairs. The house did not bother me. The tv and the content bothered me. It is not ideal to be living with parents at near middle age, but that is why the Disability

You can try it out. Not all condos are connected to libraries, so you are good.

Agree, I also dislike violent or anti Christian shows.
What our teenagers and children need are good clean stories that are free of violence and immorality. Our teenagers and children deserve stories that inspire and uplift. That's what make them happy and grow healthily. But no, what our teenagers and children are offered are filth. Does anyone wish to read good clean stories that are family friendly and pro Christian??

Though of course it’s ludicrously violent and irreverent, the self stated nihilistic worldview of the setting also seems to be subverted somewhat by the author’s desire to have a satisfying story in which evil is defeated. I feel like Homelander is an obvious antichrist figure in the series, and a running theme is how these superpowered individuals become worshipped as idols and the extreme negative consequences that this has on society. But because it’s so gruesome, I’m glad that it’s not running on network television…

Interesting. For my part, I find the Marvel Superhero movies to be more 'anti-Christian' than 'The Boys'. Marvel promotes a humanistic 'dream' if you will, about how a person could make the world better if they were just super powered. "The Boys" on the other hand, paints the dark but truthful picture of how 'superhero's' would likely behave if real people had these over the top powers. The answer for the world is NOT human beings, despite what powers they might have.

Power corrupts is the the clear message of "The Boys". And I find that to be similar in theme to the failures of humanity illustrated in the Bible.
