There are two ways to solve this problem.

A. Push forward and allow women to become priests.

or

B. Push backwards and ban girls from being altar servers.
The former will result in schism. The latter is the only reasonable option for Catholics.

You still haven't answered my question. Why have you not joined the Anglican Church, since it already ordains women to the priesthood.

To avoid a schism let each bishop decide if they want to
work with women priests in their part of the world.

The Catholic Church is too big to fail,
it needs some level of reform.

Well, I am Irish Catholic.

Fair enough - I didn't know that. Thanks.
I wouldn't say it's true, in any case.

I think it is true enough to say that some people interested in taking their faith seriously, but who have not yet discerned a vocation to ordained ministry, might become altar servers, and therefore might recognise their vocation while participating in that activity. But God calls whom he calls, and plenty of us have been called without ever having been altar servers or the like beforehand. (I would be an example of that. I never assisted in the sanctuary in any capacity until after being accepted as a candidate for ordination).

But it doesn't matter. If @Love365 wants to beat their head against the brick wall of women's ordination in the Catholic church, then I'd say, recognise that the argument has to be made in a way that makes sense for Catholics. Arguing about altar servers, foot washing or lamp lighting, (or the like) when none of these are relevant to how Catholics understand ordained ministry, is irrelevant and simply makes people disengage.

You claim to be Catholic yet your posts demonstrate you have little knowledge or understanding of the Catholic faith. I'm not Catholic and yet that fact is glaringly obvious to me.

The Roman Empire was too big to fail, but history tells us how that went down, plus it is anti Catholic to claim the Church's resilience is due to its size. Isn't it supposed to be about Christ's promise to Peter?
An all male priesthood is De Fide in Catholicism, the sex of altar servers is not, and traditionally altar servers were young men who had already discerned a calling to the priesthood. Altar boys were only used when there were too few acolytes.

Correct. The Church on earth can't change what God has ordained. Our church seems to have more girls for altar servers (there seems to be at this time a lot more girls in the parish) but they want to make sure that boys who are thinking about becoming priests can be servers if they wish. As I've said before, the highest position in the Catholic Church is sainthood, and there are plenty of female and male saints.

There are not going to be female priests in the Catholic Church. You've been advocating for years for something that has been decided by God and cannot be changed within the Catholic Church. No pope nor anyone else has the ability to ordain a woman as priest. I wonder about your knowledge of Catholic doctrine. Do you consider yourself a practicing Catholic, for example, a person who makes an effort to attend mass every Sunday? Or do you consider yourself just a cultural Catholic, maybe Catholic parents but aren't interested in going to mass? I used to be a cultural Catholic, and one who didn't know much about my own religion, but now I'm a practicing Catholic.

A woman can be made a saint.

A woman can be made a Doctor of the Church.

Could one of those women be made a cardinal ?
According to the bible, every Christian is a saint. "Saint" in the bible is never used before somebody's name, like "Saint Peter."

All I know is what best represents what a church should look like is what the early church looked like. Including the church in the 1st and 2nd and possibly the 3rd centuries. For the church to be able to determine the books of the bible we now debate over they had to have still had some reminants of the early church.

But definitely after becoming the State religion of Rome things became more political. Though there were revivals. But gradually the church including the CC have moved away from Christs church.

But I think it is the Catholics who trace back through this history and tradition and should be modelling itself on this more. Not have a kingdom on earth.

I think there needs to be a universal church and all the different denominations is like identity politics and tribal. That was the idea of the early church anyway.

I think there will be another revival of some sort due to the lack churches shining Christ. That is what stands out about the early church they were Christ focused and actually lived the teachings. Put their bodies and lives on the line for Christ.

But a big part of that was protecting the teachings and having order in the church. Respecting the bishop and priests. The bishops and priests being like servants like Christ and the disciples and not identities in the sense they had a hierarchy of status. More like the greatest was the least.

Well, I am in the middle on this one. Mary gave birth to Jesus, so I feel that women can be vessels for spreading the Good News also, but I will not debate on that.
Keeping in mind it's not about what "we feel," but about what God commands in his "God-breathed" (theopnuestos, 2 Tim 3:16) written word, noting that the command there is grounded in the principle of God's creation order.

Would you be more likely to join the Catholic Church,
if they had women priests, bishops, and cardinals?
Absolutely NOT!!!! The Roman Catholic religious system is RIDDLED with heretical LIES, and pagan practiced/beliefs. incorporating women would be nothing more than completely marginal garbage!!!!
