Come September, every public school classroom in Texas could be required to display the Ten Commandments under a requirement that passed a key vote in the Texas legislature Sunday — part of a larger push in Texas and beyond to increase the role of religion in schools.

A clear violation of the first amendment and the principle of the wall of separation.

I am literally giddy at what WE will be able to accomplish when WE'RE back in power. No idea the can of worms all this nonsense opens up.

After School Satan clubs will be offered for all students at all schools
The 7 Tenets of Satanism in every classroom, a MUCH better set of rules to live by, IMO
Secular chaplains in every school
Brain's "How God Works" will be part of the core curriculum

The possibilities are endless!!

EDIT to clarify: This is not a promotion of "Satanism", but in the context of politics, Satanism would be as much a valid religion as Judaism, Christianity or any other religion. Any argument you could make against the Tenets of Satanism being posted would apply to any other religion you would want promoted.

This doesn’t really bother me. It is in Texas after all but my question for those who support this policy, what do you expect to be the result or outcome from just posting the 10 commandments at public schools? What is the aim here?

Still seems to me that people proposing this don't know the Bible very well.

Be that as it may, sure, let's see how the current Supreme Court handles the issue. I think it's not going to go well for the Texas legislators.
