Planned Parenthood employees at over 30 facilities were willing to provide cross-sex hormones to an undercover operative posing as a 16-year-old, and some even offered to prescribe the drugs at the first appointment, according to an investigative report released by a pro-life activist group.

Live Action released the results of its latest undercover investigation in a video posted on its YouTube channel last Wednesday. This investigation comes five years after The Christian Post's undercover investigations into the prevalence of Planned Parenthood clinics dispensing cross-sex hormones to clients.

Lila Rose, the founder and president of Live Action, shared the video in a post on X, writing, “Defund Planned Parenthood now!”

For people like me that have never heard of "cross-sex hormones", this is what it is.

Cross-sex hormones, also known as gender-affirming hormone therapy, are medications used by transgender individuals to align their physical characteristics with their gender identity. This therapy typically involves taking hormones associated with the desired gender, such as testosterone for trans men and estrogen for trans women, to develop secondary sex characteristics like body hair or breast development.

Ok. Minors, regardless, don’t need them. Adults can make their own decisions once they are of age. Period.

And the health issues they can cause is a real thing. Growing minors should not be given these hormones.

Exactly. Minors are impressionable and shouldn’t be given life altering drugs such as these.

Overall, I favor a harm reduction, evidence-based approach over any kind of ideology based on metaphysics about gender. And I believe these sorts of decisions are best made by doctors and psychiatrists, not politicians.

If a minor has long-standing gender dysphoria, it's not a matter of "impressionability". A small number of children have gender dysphoria from an early age, long before they could have been subject to any peer pressure or exposure to any kind of ideology.
