No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

President Donald Trump announced on Saturday morning that after a long night of U.S.-mediated talks, the nuclear-armed rivals of India and Pakistan agreed to a full and immediate ceasefire.

In a post on Truth Social, the president said, “After a long night of talks mediated by the United States, I am pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a FULL AND IMMEDIATE CEASEFIRE. Congratulations to both Countries on using Common Sense and Great Intelligence.”

The conflict between India and Pakistan intensified Saturday as the two countries accused each other of ongoing drone and missile strikes.

This is good, this war is scarier than the Russian war when it comes to nukes. It is also surprising news because Vance said the other day that it wasn't our business, which I didn't like. After all, a nuclear exchange between the two would definitely mess up some trade deals for a lot of countries. lol

I am thankful I don't live in that hemisphere. It'll be bad if China gets involved with Pakistan because there is no love for India.

Of course not, have you ever tried to break up a fight when two people are whaling on each other? It takes a few people for each one to wrestle them to the ground.

Too much hate, but if China gets involved, I'm thinking we will too. Wars and rumors of wars.

I do not see any reason why this should turn to be some huge conflict. Neither side (India or Pakistan) have a desire to wage war. This looks more like "let us not loose our face" actions and reactions.

It's just started, and Pakistan had to retaliate for what India did a couple of days earlier. You punch me in the face, I'll be sure that I'd want to return the favor. It's going to escalate. I hope you a right.
