They say there was a singularity before the big bang, it`s just a theory. What happened after the big bang is pretty much explained, but not what came before it. They say perhaps there`s a big energy-source in the universe which creates singularites, so there`s many universes. Not dimentions, but many universes created from singularity. This energy-source might be infinite in size also, since if there`s finite amount of something it`s difficult to explain what decided how much there was gonna be. My real question is, is this energy-source God? A infinitly big being?

If E = mc2 then we can divide and conclude that...

Mass (m) = Energy (E/c2) --- Making this eternal stuff

And there are three varieties...

Natural E/c2 - All mass is basically cooled plasma --- And bang! Back to plasma!
Mental E/c2 - Mentally, A mathematical formula, and a mind to study these things
Spiritual E/c2 - E (motivation, warmth, love) / c2 (faith, hope, charity, joy)

There could have been trillions of big bangs throughout eternity for all we know. God declares himself from eternity. Because of the eternal factor the reckoning of time is very short...

For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. - Isaiah 57:15

And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: - Revelation 10:6

The idea that nothing existed and then it blew up sounds dumb.
The idea that something existed and then it blew up sounds less dumb, but it kicks the can down the road, where did it come from.

One has to choose an infinitely eternal self creating universe or an infinitely eternal creator.

Did God create himself, you think? From nothing, before the universe?

According to the bible, God is eternal - He had no beginning, so He was not created. Besides, it doesn't make any sense at all to say that God created Himself. He has to exist in order to create. How can something which doesn't exist create itself?
