Anway I could silence the politics section? I came here to read about Jesus not politics. To much hate in this section. Keeps showing in my feed. There will never be a perfect politician. Humans are not perfect in nature. The only perfect ruler is Jesus Christ. Having this section is asking for propagandist to create accounts and polute the minds of good Christians. I've got news for you guys most of these politicians are Free Masons(They will ALL lie, cheat, steal and some of them may even kill to get there way). Who does the bible call the prince of this world? It's all fixed. If the powers that be don't want someone in power they won't allow them to be in power. The whole system is fixed left and right(Blood and crypt). Don't put your faith in man put your Faith in Jesus Christ.
I would appreciate any assistance on silencing this section. I want to read about the Christian faith not political propaganda. Mods you guys should really rethink this section.

Not sure what you mean by showing in my feed. But if you do not comment in that section, then you should not get any messages from there.

You may not care about politics but politics cares about you.

No one is forcing you to participate in political discussions but the mods can ban you from the political section if you want so you wont have to read or participate.

Maybe the website software isn't capable of hiding these sites for one person.

Or maybe they feel it will inspire all sorts of requests--Baptists will only want to see Baptist sites, Presbyterians only Presbyterian sites, Catholics only Catholic sites.

Just as in Facebook, Instagram, X, or other social media sites, you just have to scroll past them.

Many of us are concerned about many moral and ethical issues in the real world--both conservatives and progressives. I believe that being God's hands and feet on earth, we need to be concerned about moral and ethical issues in the real world--as Jesus was.

Listen Brothers and Sisters in Christ. I do not want to debate any of this. All Im asking is there anyway I can remove it from me feed. That's it. I don't want my mind poluted by propganda. As imperfect as I am, I want to be as pure as I could be. When it's time to vote I could visit an ALT Media site. On another note I personally wanted Trump to win because I felt like he was the best shot at keeping America one Nation under God, with all that said. I do not put my faith in man I put it in The Father, Son and Holy Spirt only.
I think Messiahs recation to all the hate in that section would be something like this

Just to give the mods an example when I goto new posts most of the things I'm seeing are politics related really hurting the user expeirence Please see the following screenshot. I really want to like this forum, but I just wish there was away to filter out the politics section. Who knows when voting time comes around I just may have a look at it again, but for now. I would like to filter it out.

I only enter politics threads when I desire so hopefully you can fix what settings you have or something and avoid the topic.
With that said, a great definition of politics is a book by the same name. "Politics: Who Gets What, When, How" (1936) Christians should be concerned with that because it touches us in all kinds of ways. This does not mean you do not trust God, but in policy terms it still is meaningful. healthcare, education, churches non-profit status, our freedom and exercise of religion. All political things.
I am thinking though you meant politics as in the personal aspects. Here, a President change in the USA rarely makes that much difference. Trump though could be on the extreme end, for better or for worse depending on your position and outcomes. And yes, you are right, much of the power is fixed. Some of it about ideology and some about money.

I'm guessing you are looking at either the "Hot" or "Latest Activity" feeds?

There are 2 ways that I know of - there may be others. Here you go..

1st - you can stop using the "Hot" or "Latest Activity" feeds. Instead simply go to the forums (or parts of the forums) that you want to go to. This will allow you to bypass the political stuff entirely and the most active threads of whatever forum you go to will still show up on top.

2nd - If you still want to use the hot or latest activity feeds you can set a filter for what forums show up in the feed. Have you tried that? See screenshot below.. Note - I have not filtered any out in my feed, that is why they show up in the screen shot.

The board does have some (limited) ways to control your user experience. It seems you aren't using them though?
