CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

N.B.: Hezbollah does not persecute Christians. And Israel is an enemy state. And there are many regions in the South full of Christians. And Hezbollah does not "run the show" in the South.

You have no idea about what's going on here. You just know what the Western and Zionist media is presenting to you.Maybe not yet for official persecution, but threats have been issued to the Christians in Lebanon. A prominent pro Hezbollah reporter, Reda Saad, commented that the role of Christians in Lebanon has ended. Hezbollah is a terrorist organization and the Lebanese government is corrupt and weak. It's only a matter of time before Hezbollah destroys Christians like the other jihadists. Look at what has been happening in Syria lately. None of these Muslim "Freedom" fighters will coexist peacefully with Christians. Israel is an enemy state because Hezbollah continuously launches rockets and commits acts of aggression and recklessly endangers the lives of the Lebanese citizens. Just like Hamas endangers their own. Why is Hezbollah supporting Hamas and antagonizing Israel? Israel isn't your enemy. Hezbollah is. Israel if anything has done your country a service by weakening Hezbollah. Also, if you really want to pick a side, the Christian should be very careful to condemn Israel and declare it an enemy. That is not a very Scriptural position and a very dangerous take.
They do run the show in the South. The only hope for Lebanon is to work with Israel to rid their country of this scourge. Christians should not sympathize with these terrorists. They will have no mercy on you when they assume complete control. HTS has not shied away from mass killings of Christian families in Syria. Right after they claimed to be freedom fighters fighting for the liberation of all Syrians. The Alawites have begged Netanyahu to rescue them from the retaliatory massacres of the HTS. So maybe Israel isn't the problem. It's the extremist groups that ruin their own country. Terrorists in Lebanon are the same. They are already threatening what they will do. Maybe Christians in Lebanon should take those threats seriously and stop hating on Israel. They are actually threatening to cut your heads off after they finish dealing with Israel. Very concerning rhetoric
For the record, I'm not just espousing a foreigner viewpoint. My sister- in- law is an Armenian who grew up in Syria and fled to Lebanon after ISIS created havoc during the Syrian civil war. Hezbollah is a serious threat to your faith. If not in the immediate, certainly in the future if they are not eliminated. Persecution can happen overnight. Syria wasn't always this dangerous for Christians.

And one of the greatest evidences that you have no idea, is that you are comparing Lebanese Shiites to Syria's extremist jihadists who are a very extremist branch of Sunnis, and they are enemies of Hezbollah. Hezbollah has protected Syrian Christians from these terrorists in the past. But now Israel is fighting against Hezbollah and strengthening the hand of those terrorists. You need to be here to know these things.

My heart grieves with you over these atrocities. Yet, I believe these videos do not reflect the true heart of Israel or the spirit of Zion, the City of David. They are not only against Christ but also against Israel, their homeland, even more. May you find the wife you seek, one who brings peace and joy to your life and bless you.
