  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The Department of Education canceled all but five of the 109 grants after reviews found “objectionable” DEI themes in the trainings. In one example of the taxpayer-funded trainings, teachers were told that young infants and toddlers can already be classified as racists.

When I discussed DEI ideology, I pointed out that part of its basis was Critical Race Theory, and I further pointed out that Critical Race Theory ideology constructs a permanent conflict between white and other races based on race alone. Classifying white infants and toddlers as racists is the obvious conclusion of CRT.

I have also discussed that DEI is not supported by the Civil Rights Act legislation that created the Equal Employment and Opportunities Commission which implements Affirmative Action. The DEI initiatives of CRT, Radical Feminism, and Critical Gender Theory are not supported by legislation, only by specific executive orders of the Obama and Biden administration.

They can be rooted out.

The question is whether people of good faith in the Trump administration and in the agencies involved are willing to see where the dividing lines are.
