University sources are hardly reliable these days if one searches for Gaza for example.

Govt sources are equally questionable... have we forgotten Covid that quick

Gov't and University institutions on scientific research to be specific. So far, everyone I discussed with where I shared links from these sources trust them and sometimes also share links from the same sources.

The Gaza conflict is plagued with disinformation campaign but it's just one topic out of so many. I doubt the other topics involve people trying to annihilate each other. You need to consider the circumstances or the context. Just like the Bible.

You choose your sources - some choose others... You are comfortable with what you trust, others are comfortable with what they trust.

The days of trusting science to be consistent with reality are passing as the scientific community is split ideologically and politically and is often commercially driven.

Re. Gaza - within the Christian community there is extreme differences over the 'context' so context doesn't solve the issue.

Speculative topics in science is bound to have multiple theories on the same subject. It's just like religion. It's up to you to investigate on your own and even experiment on your own to find which one is the truth. Don't disregard everything else because people are divided since you can seek the truth on your own.

Context can solve the issue if everyone can imagine themselves "in other people's shoes". Empathize with other people, with other cultures, with the poor. Have an understanding why some people do certain things even if it's not right or not aligned with the truth. It's one way you can discern a person speaking or the truth as well as interpret Biblical teachings.

I think a poster should be upfront if they use AI. I have been using Grok lately. I like how it seems to be less politically biased and doesn't constantly give me politically correct lectures.

Posters should be careful and double check their work. While AI is often accurate, sometimes it's horribly wrong.

Grok will list its sources so you can manually check. Although at least for me, often the link doesn't work or sends me to a domain change on the website? It seems like it's searching and finding content that is no longer available.

I am still fairly new at using AI, but so far it's given me a vast array of studies to look at, and will even search for specific aspects of studies I find relevant. Chatting with Grok has even made me rethink how I view certain subjects.

I don't take it at it at face value. Sometimes I have to argue with it and it will even concede to my points/concerns. Especially studies about gender topics. But, AI just pulls out what is available which is still subject to bias and error.

I have worked with computers for over 50 years and used to light heartedly call my machine 'the beast'

Not sure this is a joking matter any more...
I've long believed that the mark of the beast will be a chip implant in a cashless society. To all intents and purposes this world wide dictatorship will be almost invincible. "Who can defeat the beast?" "Who can wage war against it?"

It will also have the devils supernatural power behind it. He tried with Nazism but was unsuccessful. That's where the Third Reich got it's hideous brilliance from - the devil was behind it. And he's going to try again, but this time he won't be quite so blatant about it.

I am quite sure AI will be part of it.

Revelation 13:4 NIV "People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?”

For example I bought a coffee and a cheap burger from a Hungry Jacks today. If AI were monitoring our transaction it would know that at a certain time I was in a certain place. Cameras probably recorded my car in several places, and I made a few mobile phone calls. An electronics engineer told me they are easy to triangulate. And of course I'm on the bot infested internet right now. My funds are parked electronically in a bank's server somewhere, or maybe they are out in the cloud for all I know. Even for my charity work I require an online police check every so often, and that is predominantly carried out by AI.

Even when it comes to national defence, a bloke who'd been in the Australian Navy for some years said to me "Everybody pretty much knows what everybody else has these days and where it is." Submarines may be one exception but I wonder about that sometimes. If the US Navy knows for example where every other submarine is, they're not going to tell us.
