CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

As has been pointed out, the alternative to Trump would have been the continuation of Biden's policies which would have literally destroyed our economy. Kamala's policies would have led to a form of communism. There were no perfect choices. If / when the choice is between dog poop or McDonald's, what is a person supposed to choose? Trump is not going to be perfect but America will survive and, in fact, a LOT of good things will happen (they already are). Trump throws ten darts and nine of them are spot-on and one is a miss. Oh well, he isn't perfect and we have the courts and congress. Would it have been better to have elected Kamala and then watched America turn into some godless communism where Christians are persecuted and beheaded?
Neither Biden nor Kamala have any interest in Communism, they are both proponents of Democratic Capitalism.
Under Biden's administration USA was doing one of the best economic recoveries in the world coming out of the Covid years and with regards to the disruption to the world's economy that the Russia/Ukraine war is having.
However, in a very quick turnaround, in Trump's administration, the stock market is tanking that the GDP forecasts are looking terrible. All due to his drastic threats and implementing of massive tariffs on you most crucial trading allies.

Doesn't matter. Donald Trump was president when Rod Rosenstein (Republican acting Attorney General) commissioned Robert Mueller as the Special Council to investigate this.
The only reason why Mueller investigated Trump's obstruction activities was because he was trying to find out if someone conspired to help him. Much like when Michael Cohen went to prison. Both him and Trump conspired but Cohen was the only person charged with a crime.

We will always be able to look back and "thank" Biden/ Harris for the worst inflation in a generation. Also, if they truly were for any form of Capitalism (even liberal rainbow Capitalism), why did they make sure that as many illegal criminals invaded the country as possible? How do you justify making veterans homeless while putting drug dealing rapists up in luxury hotels? Who pays to subsidize the drug dealing and human trafficking? You need a form of socialism and/or communism to accommodate millions of violent illegals draining the system. Another four years of Kamala Harris and we would no longer be living in America.

Calculators? Phht! Do it you head. Sure you should "memorize" a few things, but it's not any different than memorizing and internalizing the SI prefixes.
The reality is that most everyday things don't require conversions. For example, if we talk about cars and travel we have mpg for fuel economy, miles for distance markers, mph for speed, and fuel sales and tank sizes are in gallons. I'm traveling 75 mph down the highway with a fuel economy of 35 mpg and a 12 gallon tank. I can travel about 380 miles before refueling and it will take about 5.5 hours to run out of gas. Use "km" "liters" and it all still works. (If you really want to mess with us, give fuel economy in liters/100 km. It's not the units, but the inverted meaning that will get us.) No one cares how what the fuel efficiency of your car is in furlongs per cup, so there is no point converting. (Both are 1/8 of the normal units, so the answer is the same number as mpg. In the case of my car about 35 furlongs/cup of gas.)
Cooking and carpentry are the places you are most likely to need to worry about "tricky" math. For cooks it's a really good idea to know how many teaspoons to a tablespoon (3), ounce to a cup (8), cups to a pint (2) pints to a quart (2). For carpentry it's a lot of 2'4" + 5'8" is what? Can I use 1 8' board (No. It is 8'1".) For convenience my tape measure reads both total inches and feet+inches.
A lot of precision machining and such is in 0.001 inches (about 1/40 of a mm) and has been for a while, but sizes of ordinary things like pipe diameters and nut sizes are given in fractions of an inch (always powers of 2, so 3/8, never 1/3).

Mueller finds no collusion with Russia, leaves obstruction question open
Special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation did not find sufficient evidence that President Donald Trump’s campaign coordinated with Russia to influence the United States’ 2016 election and did not take a clear position on whether Trump obstructed justice.
The special counsel found that Russia did interfere with the election, but “did not find that the Trump campaign, or anyone associated with it, conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in these efforts, despite multiple efforts from Russian-affiliated individuals to assist the Trump campaign.”
As far as obstruction, the Mueller report laid out facts on both sides but did not reach a conclusion. Barr’s letter said that “the Special Counsel states that ‘while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.’”
But Barr said that he and Rosenstein "have concluded that the evidence developed during the Special Counsel's investigation is not sufficient to establish that the President committed an obstruction-of-justice offense."

My father blames Jacinda Ardern for the inflation.
I tend to think it was happening worldwide and was due to Covid and the Russian war, rather than any countries' policies.

Yes, this. The Democrat party is the reason 77 million people held their noses(well at least a lot of them) and voted for Trump. The Democrat party used to be about the working class, blue collar people, ( I was always a registered Republican)in my younger days.
My parents Democrat party was all about the little guy, the working class. Those days are long gone. Now they are far to the left, and all about the culture wars. This is why many working class people supported Trump. (And no, I'm not a Trump fan.)
And no- I don't like the way the Republican party is going, either.
But-many pro life Christians had to draw the line at a party that carries out live abortions right at their national convention.
So many truly were voting for what they thought was the lesser of two evils.

More than none and less than the smallest measuring device you might use. Might a splash of red wine be about a tsp or 2, probably, but good luck pouring from a wine bottle into a measuring spoon.
It took 79 cups to fill my tank, but cups, gallons, or liters, the bottom line was the same: $22.

Manafort was convicted of other crimes
On August 21, their fourth day of deliberation, the jury found Manafort guilty on 8 of the 18 felony counts, including five counts of filing false tax returns, two counts of bank fraud, and one count of failing to disclose a foreign bank account.
Not collusion.

The Russians contacted members of the Trump Presidential Campaign promising to provide dirt on H Clinton
Members of the Trump Presidential Campaign met with these Russians at Trump tower hoping to get the dirt.
They did not get the dirt.
Nothing came of it. But the intent was there. The intent to work with the Russians to benefit from the information illegally obtained via the server hack, in order to win the upcoming presidential election.

You have not addressed whether you think Paul sharing polling data with the Russians is coordinating with the Russians in order to win the upcoming presidential election.
Yes, Mueller determined he didn't have a strong case for criminality even though he had evidence of coordination and collaboration.

No case, no collusion. Meeting a female Russian citizen in Trump Tower to get opposition research which turned out not to exist is not collusion and evidently neither is sharing polling data.
If there was collusion where is the indictment? Where is the conviction?

This is seriously misleading.
The Trump Presidential Campaign didn't commission this lady to do Opposition research.
She was working for the Russian government and had suggested to the Trump team that she had dirt from the illegally obtain emails.
Collusion isn't of itself illegal. There are also other factors in play. e.g. did the Trump members know they were doing something illegal and hence willingly break the law, etc.
