Jesus had a lot to say about and this taught that the path to eternal life is narrow and that few find it. In Matthew 7:13-14, He said;
"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it."
This shows that salvation is not guaranteed for everyone, and only those who stay faithful and follow His teachings will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Jesus also warned that some would hear the word and believe for a while, but eventually fall away. In the Parable of the Sower, He explained;
"But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles." (Matthew 13:20-21).
This illustrates that some will start their walk with God but will not persevere when faced with trials or temptations.

In John 15:6, Jesus made it even clearer, saying;
"If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned."
Here, Jesus compares Himself to a vine and believers as branches. A branch must remain connected to the vine to stay alive and bear fruit. If a person disconnects from Christ through disobedience or unbelief, they wither spiritually and face eternal judgment.

The original apostles also confirmed this truth. Peter warned in 2 Peter 2:20-21;
"For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them."
This shows that a person who was once saved and returns to sin is in a worse condition than before they knew the truth.

James also affirmed this truth when he said;
"Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins."
(James 5:19-20).
This verse reveals that a believer can wander away from the truth and face spiritual death unless they repent and return to God.

The Bible does provide examples of those who lost their salvation. Judas Iscariot was one of the twelve apostles chosen by Jesus, yet he betrayed the Lord for thirty pieces of silver. Jesus Himself said about Judas;
"It would have been good for that man if he had not been born." (Matthew 26:24).
This shows that Judas was once in the faith but fell away and was lost.

Another example is Balaam, a prophet who once heard from God but later led Israel into sin for personal gain. Peter referred to him, saying,
"They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor." (2 Peter 2:15). King Saul is yet another example; he was chosen and anointed by God but later disobeyed and rebelled, and the Spirit of God departed from him (1 Samuel 16:14)

Jesus' words make it clear that salvation is not a one-time event but requires endurance and faithfulness until the end. As He said in Matthew 24:13, "But he who endures to the end shall be saved." Therefore, those who abide in Christ, obey His commandments, and remain faithful will receive eternal life. However, those who turn away from Him and return to sin risk losing their salvation and facing eternal separation from God.

If a person has believed in Jesus for God's free gift of Eternal Life (salvation). Then no, that person can not lose their Eternal Life (salvation).

So if you do not want to spend eternity with God. Do not believe in Jesus, because if you do and something happens and you end up getting mad or hating God. There will be nothing you can do, you will end up spending eternity with God on the new earth.

To answer your question one must look at the cross. What happened there?

Jesus' sacrifice was perfect. He paid the penalty for every sin of every believer. When Christ drank the cup of God’s wrath he drank it to the dregs. There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus and that means on the final day and every day until then. God is never judging you for your sin if you are in Christ.

God cannot judge His people in any way because his people have already been judged in Jesus.

So have can a Christian lose salvation if Christ satisfied God's wrath? How can a Christian lose salvation when his sins were paid for? There is no longer sin as a Christian passed from judgement to life.

People who say salvation can be lost are ultimately saying to the Father that sending His Son was not enough, but you a sinner can add something to it. You are saying to the Son of God that Him giving His life on the cross was not enough.

Some verses that show salvation cannot be lost:

John 6 39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day.
He will lose none, not some.

John 10 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.

No one can snatch them from His hands. Those who say salvation can be lost, are calling Christ liar.

Romans 8 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Nothing can separate a Christian from the love of God.

Do you want the truth, or just the atypical contradictory answers/replies that you already know, and are already expecting, and that you already know you will normally get?

Each person's individual judgment is going to be different, since God made each one of us different. What might be held against one person, might not be held against another, and vice-versa, etc. We are not the judges of each individual person, so I just tell everyone that any kind of sin (that the Bible says are sins) can be a possible risk, etc. And this could be a risk to salvation, or otherwise to potential rewards or gains or losses in Heaven, etc, but none of us can know or say for sure, since it is only God who knows exactly how He made each individual person. Technically, if you can lose out on your salvation, or lose your salvation, then you never truly had it to begin with, but that would require a bit more explaining, and depending on your current level of knowledge, or knowing, or understanding right now, you will either understand that explanation, or you will not, etc. So I think this is enough for now.

God Bless.

It is pretty presumptuous of anyone (and another word for "presumptuous" is "arrogant", etc) Anyway, it is/was pretty presumptuous/arrogant of anyone, past, present, or future to think they can/could ever know this for certain either way for sure, etc. Pretty presumptuous/arrogant to think that an individual person could lose out on salvation for 100% sure for this or that specific kind of sin, or won't ever for 100% sure ever lose out on salvation at all ever for any kind of sin. Our hope is that if we name the name of Jesus Christ in the judgement that he can declare us 100% completely forgiven/not guilty of any kind of sin, but Jesus could also say "He never knew you" also, and that will more than likely be connected to your behavior, or what kind of person you are or were, or, IOW's, for this or that (kind of) sin, etc.

That's enough for now.

We are taking something away from both God and Jesus Christ when we do not completely hand over/completely yield judgement of any and all person's, including even our own selves, over to them. And it's also sin, etc. And a sin that only ever produces the fruit of a bunch of other, always 100% completely hated by God, other kinds of sins, etc.

God Bless.

If I follow what you say, Jesus also paid for the sin of Herod, Hitler, judas and why not satan too, are these saved also?

Christ paid the price for those who believe in Him and do his will.
see james 2

James 2:19 (NKJV);
"You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!
God cannot judge His people in any way because his people have already been judged in Jesus.
Here are several verses where Jesus speaks about judgment and how we will be judged, (NKJV);

Matthew 7:21-23

"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'"

Matthew 12:36-37

"But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."

Matthew 16:27

"For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works."

Matthew 25:31-33

"When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left."

Matthew 25:41

"Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.'"

John 5:22-23

"For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him."

John 5:28-29

"Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation."

Luke 12:8-9

"Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God. But he who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God."

Luke 12:47-48

"And that servant who knew his master's will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more."

Revelation 22:12 (Jesus speaking)

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work."

You are saying to the Son of God that Him giving His life on the cross was not enough.

that is for those who believed in him and do his will, in other words do what Jesus asked us to do, do you know what Jesus asks of us?
No one can snatch them from His hands. Those who say salvation can be lost, are calling Christ liar.
same answer ;that is for those who believed in him and do his will, in other words do what Jesus asked us to do. Read the parable of the good shepherd. in John chapter 10. That is for people who Hear his voice and keep his sayings.
Romans 8 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

yes GOD loves us but not all will make it unfortunately;

Matthew 7:13-15 (NKJV)

13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 [a]Because narrow is the gate and [b]difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

yes it is absolutely possible to lose salvation, scripture is VERY clear we have to persevere to the end and ask for God's help and have to rely on Him and Him alone.

God's wrath was transferred from God to Jesus Christ, and there might be very many reasons why he could say he doesn't know you, or never knew someone, or me or you possibly, etc. Christ can separate you from the Love of Christ, but nothing else can, etc. In Revelation, they are trying to hide themselves from, or flee from the wrath of the Lamb, and does any of us for 100% for sure know where we (will) truly stand?

God Bless.

Allow the word of God to wash away the error of once saved always saved. It is a deception of the enemy.

The following scripture pertains specifically to those in the churches and reveals it is possible to have one's name blotted out of the book of life.

"Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches." Rev. 3:3-6

Jesus had a lot to say about and this taught that the path to eternal life is narrow and that few find it. In Matthew 7:13-14, He said;
"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it."
This shows that salvation is not guaranteed for everyone, and only those who stay faithful and follow His teachings will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Jesus also warned that some would hear the word and believe for a while, but eventually fall away. In the Parable of the Sower, He explained;

In John 15:6, Jesus made it even clearer, saying;

The original apostles also confirmed this truth. Peter warned in 2 Peter 2:20-21;

James also affirmed this truth when he said;
"Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins."
(James 5:19-20).
This verse reveals that a believer can wander away from the truth and face spiritual death unless they repent and return to God.

The Bible does provide examples of those who lost their salvation. Judas Iscariot was one of the twelve apostles chosen by Jesus, yet he betrayed the Lord for thirty pieces of silver. Jesus Himself said about Judas;

It is called apostasy. It can happen to anyone at any point if they do not stay the course comanded by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Thanks for sharing!

The verse you post from Revelation shows that it is not possible, as Jesus states He will not blot out a name written in the book of life.

Show me the verse that states those believers that do not oversometh, their name will be blotted out.

If I follow what you say, Jesus also paid for the sin of Herod, Hitler, judas and why not satan too, are these saved also?
who said anything about Herod, Hitler, Judas and satan? Jesus paid for every sin of every true believer, His own elect. The people who He decided to by grace give eternal life to.

All of you who say that salvation can be lost, fail to explain the cross. Why is that?

Christ sacrifice was perfect. He satisfied God's wrath fully, but only for the true believer. There is no wrath for those who are in Christ. Every true Christian was judged in Christ, and because Christ was without sin, the penalty of death was invalid. And because every true Christian was judged in Christ, there is no longer judgement. The sins were judged, No sin remains.

When Christ was dying on the cross He said 'it is finished' or 'tetelestai' in Greek. Tetelestai was a stamp 2,000 years ago that was stamped on an invoice to confirm the dept was paid for in full. This is what happened on the cross. Christ paid in full for the debt of every believer, past, present, future. The debt is paid. How can one lose salvation. Based on what? There is no judgment for those in Christ.

We will all give account to God one day. I will say that Christ done everything for me on the cross. You will say to the Father that sending His own Son was not enough, that you, a filthy sinner added to the cross. You will say to Christ that Him sacrificing Himself for you was not enough. God has giving His life for you, but you are saying that was not enough. Good luck with that.

God Bless.
Jesus said, unless a person is born of water and of Spirit they cannot enter the kingdom of God. (John 3:3-5) The NT rebirth becomes a reality for those who believe in Jesus, repent, submit to water baptism in the name of Jesus for the remission of sin and receive the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:4-42, 8:12-18, 9:17-18, 10:43-48, 19:1-7, 22:16) Being born again is only the beginning. Paul revealed all must work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. Furthermore, he understood the necessity of keeping his body under control so as not to end up being a castaway himself. (1 Cor. 9:27) Many don't realize, or refuse to accept, they too could in jeopardy of being castaway.

Jesus did pay the penalty for all mankind. However, not all will take hold of what He died to provide.

Scripture reveals and confirms that everyone must believe and obey God in order for the NT rebirth to become a reality. (Acts 2:4-41, 8:12-18, 9:17-18, 10:43-48, 19:1-7, 22:16) This is just the beginning. What follows is a lifelong journey led by the Holy Ghost.
