No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It's hard to say whether or not the group was out of line without seeing how the interaction started. I've only found one video online and it starts after he's already engaged them.

I generally don't like involving kids, but at the same time, it's hard feeling sorry for a guy who unapologetically pushed lies about immigrants in order to make political hay. If he doesn't like people harassing his family, maybe he should've thought of that before inciting harassment against a bunch of poor people who'd fled political violence in their home country.
