  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The current president, who broke his promise to end the war in Afghanistan when he was president, recently shone a spotlight on these 13 brave soldiers who died tragically, filled with hyperbole and blame for Biden.

And so I was curious as to how many lives were saved by Biden's having the courage to keep his promise and end the 18 year war.
During those 18 years, an average of 136 service members were killed. Given the $2 trillion cost, an average of $111 billion was spent annually. Since 897,000 people died during those 18 years, that averaged 50,000 people a year.

13 service members died. This was tragic...

But in the last three years of his presidency, with the war ended, if you look at the law of averages, 408 service members' lives were saved. 150,000 total lives were saved. America saved $333 billion.

Biden did the right thing by ending the war, and, in his long career in foreign relations, I'm sure he realized it could not be done seamlessly. He said "the buck stops here" and did it, saving $333 billion, 150,000 lives, and 408 service members' lives.

Unfortunately, the current president has never said, "the buck stops here." He only believes in passing the buck.

Thank you, President Biden, for your courage.

Oh, yes - please thank you Joe Biden who was directly responsible for the deaths of 13 of my brothers and sisters needlessly.

Thank you Joe Biden for ignoring your generals telling you not to do it, and then lying to the American public.

Top generals contradict Biden, say they urged him not to withdraw from Afghanistan

Thank you Joe Biden for leaving billions of dollars of ammunition and the very latest war fighting equipment for our enemies to start up and use against us.

Biden admin left $7 billion in military equipment in Afghanistan: Report

Approximately $7.12 billion was still in Afghanistan after the withdrawal, including aircraft, air-to-ground munitions, military vehicles, weapons, communications equipment and more.
The report states that Biden’s Department of Defense does not plan to “retrieve or destroy” the billions of dollars worth of equipment that is now under the Taliban’s control.

How many American's and their allies will be killed with this 7 billion dollars gift to our enemy?

Special thanks to our Commander in Chief - Joe Biden for not allowing the sniper to kill the suicide bomber before he killed our brothers and sisters

Marine sniper was denied permission to shoot ISIS suicide bomber who killed 13 US troops; testimony

A Marine Corps sergeant said he was denied permission to take out the Kabul airport suicide bomber who killed 13 American troops and over 170 Afghans in August 2021.
Special shout out to Joe Biden for his heart felt receiving those he was responsible for their deaths.

Ugh. That picture of him looking at his watch is so disrespectful.
