Pretty simple, having access to government computers and phones and running pre-made scripted programs on government employees, (Fred) spent 5hrs a day playing computer games on taxpayer time, (Mary) spent 5hrs a day on Facebook, Twitter, talking with friends and family, (Joe) spent 6hrs a day running a personal business taking orders and handling shipments of his products

It's nice to see a 72% voter approval rating on DOGE, some people have common sense and care about America's future
Do you have any experience working in the information technology industry? I do.
I have spent the last 30 years designing large data centers for multinational corporations, integrating different programs, managing projects developing financial applications for banks to communicate with other financial institutions, etc.
It’s not “ Pretty simple “ or “running pre-made scripted programs” as you describe.
Social security data in the US is vast, encompassing exabytes spread across multiple programs, many of which are decades old and incompatible with modern scripting languages. Even if integration through a script or AI system were possible, no supercomputer could analyze all that data in 45 days.
Same with other government agencies, simply connecting a laptop to the NSA network or the State Department network will not provide access to yottabytes of data for analysis.
I have experience in projects where companies aimed to monitor the time employees, such as Fred and Mary, spent on non-work-related activities like computer games or social media. This type of analysis has been feasible since 2007 and requires extensive data processing involving thousands of hours. While it is possible to gather this information, analyzing employee activities for an organization or government with 2.1 million employees is not achievable within 45 days by a team of only 20 employees.
To understand these issues, one must know how things work. However, many Americans are focused on politics. They believe their favored politician can achieve anything, but criticize the opposition for failing at simple tasks.
You may choose to believe what Musk is saying, even if it seems improbable. While 72% of Americans might share that belief, it does not necessarily mean it is true.
