22 February 2025 – Iraq​

Our partner in Kurdistan praises God that it has obtained a licence for its new church and can relocate to a larger building where services can be held in Arabic, Farsi and Kurdish. Please pray for fruit from this ministry.

Please pray that more Christians would become involved in helping believers living in slavery in the brick kilns of Pakistan.

Praise God for Kaliq, a Christian who was recently redeemed from labouring in a brick kiln. Please pray for him as he is not able to work due to severe back pain, having been repeatedly beaten by the owner of the factory.

Pray that Christians who have been redeemed from the brick kilns by our partners will be able to become established and thrive in their new lives. Six families were redeemed last year.

As a result of generational debt, the only escape for many of the families working in brick kilns is to be redeemed. Ask the Lord to grant our partners wisdom as they seek to discern which families are most in need of being redeemed.

Christians forced to work in brick kilns often experience significant poverty. Pray for our partners as they seek to help with physical needs, such as basic foods.

Pray for our partners as they seek to look after the spiritual welfare of the Christians working in brick kilns. Every week a team of pastors gathers together people from two to three factories for a time of worship, teaching and prayer.
