  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The breach was first reported by 404 Media, which revealed that two pages had been defaced with messages such as “THESE ‘EXPERTS’ LEFT THEIR DATABASE OPEN - roro” and “This is a joke of a .gov site.”
Cybersecurity specialists reviewing the website noted that it appeared hastily constructed, containing multiple vulnerabilities, coding errors, and exposed details in its source code.
Some experts suggested that the site may not even be hosted on secure government servers, raising additional concerns about its reliability.

We’ll all laugh about this someday, around the fire after a good hunt!

I see a class action suit if the leak contains citizens' personal info.
How many billion can the richest man in the world afford? I'd join the class action--peanuts for us, just punishment for him.

I'd reckon any payouts would come from the government.

I see the Trump appointed and approved Judges having a different opinion.

Are you kidding? A trillionaire can easily afford a few hundred billion. They may not be there yet, but given the opportunity, time and ability to plunder the nation's wealth...

You may think it's OK for a man who is not a government employee, unauthorized by the Senate, not sworn in, to play fast and loose with information he shouldn't have access to in the first place...
But I still have some sanity in this crazy world.
