  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I project a McConnell no. People with polio know vaccines are necessary and life-saving.
Louisiana Senator Kennedy, a physician, seems justifiably skeptical, too.
But Republicans are constantly threatened with primaries and punishments, so there might be enough who cave to pressure.

I predict that Robert Kennedy Jr shall get 52 GOP votes and all of the Senators of the Democratic Party shall oppose him, just as most of them have done with many of the rest of these nominations the last 3 weeks.

I hope he wins, and if this article is true, this is the reason we need him. My question is why so late in the vaccine testing may have an RFK effect.

"An explosive new study conducted within the US Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) own laboratory has revealed excessively high levels of DNA contamination in Pfizer’s mRNA Covid-19 vaccine.

Tests conducted at the FDA’s White Oak Campus in Maryland found that residual DNA levels exceeded regulatory safety limits by 6 to 470 times."

Washington — The Senate voted to advance Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s nomination to lead the Department of Health and Human Services on Wednesday, teeing up a final vote on his confirmation later this week.

Continued below.
I predict a vote along party lines with maybe Mitch as an exception. Regardless, JD Vance will break any tie and confirm RFK. Just as almost every other nominee has been.

The only thing we have to lose is the toxic chemicals in our food and high fructose corn syrup in sodas.
If the food is the problem, then put him in charge of the Department of Agriculture. Don't put the radically pro-choice guy in charge of Health and Human Services, the department has the has the most influence on abortion.

I know he tried to back away from his previous stances on abortion, but surely someone else can be chosen for the position who you don't have to worry about that with.
