Oh, me too. When my Kiki died she was 16 and that gave me comfort in knowing she lived a long life full of love but, OTOH, 16 years wasn’t long enough. And since she crossed the Rainbow Bridge I’ve been having trouble sleeping two or three nights a week. We used to snuggle before I’d fall asleep so I sometimes sleep with a stuffed Westie that’s wearing Kiki’s collar.Sometimes I wish they lived longer
Awww, I’m so sorry for your loss. I know how painful that is. I had a special night with my Kiki the night before she died, too, that I‘ll always remember. Same with my poodle, April. April died in my arms in bed, but Kiki needed some assistance crossing over the Rainbow Bridge. Hubby and I were with her the whole time.
