Pray for more work opportunities to open up for Somali Christian men and women in the diaspora, who find it difficult to secure employment because of their refugee status.

Pray for Somali believers who are battling with depression and anxiety because of persecution and other related life challenges in their journey with the Lord. This is made worse by the lack of freedom to worship which often means only being able to meet in secret locations.

Pray for a Somali believer who has recently lost her husband. His death was related to anxiety and depression and has had a big impact on the Somali community, as he was among only a handful of mature Christians.

22 January 2025 – Somalia​

Praise God for five Somali women and seven Somali men who have accepted Christ in the past few months. Pray for their protection and that they will stand firm in their faith, despite strong opposition from wider family members to return to Islam.

Pray for safety for a Christian worker who, at great personal risk, distributes audio Bibles inside North Korea. One Christian woman secretly listens to an audio Bible in her bed every night.

Thank God for our partners sending Bibles into North Korea. Pray for each Bible that has been sent; that the word of God would accomplish its purpose in each person who receives a copy.

Ask God to work powerfully in North Korea, delivering this nation from its brutal regime. Pray that the officials who persecute Christians would come to faith.
