CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

No one has argued otherwise. You seem to be missing the actual point that he profits from the people we pay to protect him by charging premium rates. He also profits by hosting official state functions at his own private venue even though he has a White House and a vacation property, Camp David, provided just for these uses.
No one is saying that he does not have the right to be a pig at the trough, just that it is unseemly.
And who besides you has made that ridiculous argument? I believe he would have preferred not to be shot at (key word being "at") but cashes in by lying that he was "shot in the head", etc. Never let a crisis go to waste, monetize now!
But you were mistaken, several times in a row, that you got no response. After the first correction, it no longer seems like a mistake...With each repetition, it becomes less plausible...
Making a personal insult is not productive. If you want to make this point, you have to demonstrate the truth of it rather than just saying, in effect, "Neener neener". So far, you have failed and have been quite rude in the process.
No other POTUS has bragged on tape to serially assaulting women by grabbing their genitals and kissing them without waiting for permission - this proclivity has been confirmed by a score of unrelated women throughout the decades. No other POTUS has led an insurrection against the United States. No other POTUS has had his wholly own corporation convicted of fraud. No other POTUS has been criminally convicted of felonies. No other POTUS is an adjudicated sexual assaulter. He is different from other POTUSes in a broad, deep and shameful way.
I would want any POTUS held accountable for committing crimes. Why don't you?

I would say that none of this matters to President Trump’s deeply Christian base who have elected him two times with the last election being a landslide.
