  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

With fasting a means to be closer to God in some way, to stand in His Presence for serious petition or just presence, I would personally say no.

Women are Biblically, old testament levitical law style, ritually unclean during our menstrual cycle.

While there's no specific law concerning this in the New Covenant we often extrapolate from the principals we find in the old testament.

In one respect, we are all ritually unclean and unworthy to stand before God and ask anything from Him however, we are all, those who believe, made clean by the blood of Jesus and His sacrifice in order to stand in His Presence.

But on the other hand, God is unchanging and since fasting is a special and specific thing I would definitely wait until my menstrual cycle is over for that, as a matter of respect for God.

Since there's no written rules about it under the New Covenant though, it will fall under liberty of conscious.

You may want to consider biological reasons for not wanting to fast at the same time as your menstrual cycle though.

Though I suppose there's no written rules about it under the New Covenant.

Usual prayers are fine.

Your covered in the blood of Jesus. The only thing I would change up for is fasting.

im on my menstrual nd im worried that if i fast on my period what if its wrng or a sin
There is no sin in a holy fast to God. That law applies to those whose ancestor was the man named Jacob, renamed Israel. Even if you had such ancestor, Christ the Lord tells His adopted brothers and sisters to not so consider, to consider the Father in Heaven alone to be our father.

Given that Gentile Christians are not required to follow the Jewish law (see Acts 15 and the writings of Paul), I see no reason to view yourself as ritually unclean during your period. Pray and worship as you normally would. Take care of yourself if you're having cramps or otherwise feeling bad, but otherwise live your regular life. Fasting should be fine if it's medically okay for you (though watch your iron levels).
