  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

One of the very first gifts God the Father has placed right in our lap is a wireless megaphone, which is connected to friend and foe's heart, complete with volume control. Ages Birth and up. :)

You will know them by their fruits. (Matthew 7:16)

Isaiah 2:22- Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of ?
Of the Holy Spirit of Christ. Now you raise an important question and one sure to stir the masses (if they took the time) who are not especially living a proactive life in His Spirit. Or, some identifying marks of those things spoken from year-to-year to weigh Religious VS Pentecostal enviornments. The 100-year old bristle of what line of reason these may serve to instruct in their chosen tradition:

A. 'What seems good to us and the Holy Spirit Pentecostal tradition.'
B. 'What seems good to us and the tradition of religious conformity.'

Those men of God who ''visit'' congregations without tarrying are not especially equipped to correct from their learned ''corner'', it takes years to confirm. Neither are the Pentecostals who are bound by conformity. ''Provoking one another to good works'' is largly our lot, but Pentecostal expressions that may scold you if you dare step away from some of today's contentions as I was publicly for not raising my arms or, maintaining other Apostolic traditions that are missing (1 Cor 11:16, 1 Tim 5:23).

So yes, there are times NOT to withdrawl, and times to entreat the Lord's corrective measures we need to grow with. With Paul's advice on wine to Timothy steps away from today's conformity to 'faith'. The only conformity He directs us towards is the giving of thanks, praying in the Spirit and fellowship. Be it Pentecostal or purely religious, we could go right down the line in a one by one checklist whether we have the Apostle's approval (1Cor 11:2) in the ''tradition'' they have committed to us.
