  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Finally get the opportunity to vote early.

You make valid points. I am going to stay out of the mess. A couple of days ago, the Lord very clearly told me to back out of discussing Trump and Harris and the election on one side or the other. It is not productive and can only be harmful. So I will not be in those discussions from here out. Just vote and be counted. But in the end trust Him.
I know when I'm dropping out of the discussions, too. Just isn't quite yet ...

We voted yesterday, the first day of early voting here. We voted at the closest polling place -- our ever-so-slowly dying mall (one of those wonderful products of the '70s.)

We got there a bit before the polling opened and there were two lines. I'm not sure how that happened, but they adapted. We were in line for TWO HOURS! And when we left both lines were still winding along half the mall.
Two hours? WOW.

But hey, we really need Texans to vote. You guys are on the frontlines of the battle there, situated right there on the open border. What happens in Texas affects the rest of America!

Know that many of us outside your state are watching and praying for you all!

VOTED today!!!

And the people of Ohio ARE voting! The line was long, the parking lot crowded and full of attendants, but it actually only took me a total of 25 minutes to vote.

Our local Board of Elections appears to be doing a good job here, based on what I saw today. The poll worker told me that lines have been long since early voting began on October 8th. Given the crowd size today, I think it was pretty amazing to get in, vote, and be pulling out of the parking lot in 25 minutes.

The atmosphere amongst the crowd was very pleasant. Almost fun. We cheered, when they announced the first-time voters! Everyone there seemed very eager to vote. Was a nice thing to see ...

My wife and myself voted this past Thursday.

What was perplexing to me is how the ballot nearly burried Trump and Vance's names. First name was Harris and Walz. Then there were
a list of other candidates like Jill Stein. Trump and Vance were at the end of the selection. Shouldn't they have had Trump and Vance at
the top with Harris and Walz?

You would think so but it was the same here. Voting was very different this year in my area.

That's interesting.

On our ballot, in this order, we had Oliver, Sonski, and Stein listed ... followed by Trump ... then Duncan, and then Harris. So Harris was listed last on ours. The lineup was abit odd, but at least I found my candidate on the list!

Peter Sonski of The American Solidarity Party would be a better choice imo.
Perhaps we will see a turning point with disaffiliated Republican especially. Pro-life democrats have about had their fill of being ignored also.

The way the Democratic Party excludes pro-life Democrats is horrible. It’s all I need to know about that Party at this point.
