CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Not a single painting but a great undertaking of a collection of 250 painting by Claude Monet in his Water Lilies.
"It was in 1914, at the age of 74, when he had just lost his son and could see no hope for the future, that Monet felt a renewed desire to « undertake something on a grand scale » based on « old attempts.» In 1909, he had already told Gustave Geffroy that he wanted to see the theme of the water lilies « carried along the walls." I have seen different parts of these at two museums. I am not sure why I find them so intriguing but still my favorite.

I love Monet's The Studio Boat. If I were a painter, having my studio on a boat would be ideal. Since I'm not a painter, fishing off my studio boat would be the next best thing.

It would be Our Lady of Częstochowa or the Black Black Madonna.So why would I chose that painting?Because if you read the gospel of Luke he visited Mary to get the information on the birth of Christ.If you read it then you know it could not come from anyone else but her if not who else?Anyway the legend goes that Luke who was a talented painter painted a portrait of her and icon on a table that Jesus made while he made visits to her.The painting still exists today in Poland it can be dated to the beginning of Christianity.The Black Madonna, painting and icon are in the chapel of the Virgin Mary in the fortified Baroque Pauline monastery of Jasna Góra, in Częstochowa, Poland, that has been venerated by Christians for some 600 years.If it is a original painting then it is a real painting of Mary.You have to look at the original there are many copies that are different.It doesn't matter what you believe it should be a athletic painting of Mary if the legend behind it is true.It shows tears in her eyes.

I think that ship has sailed. I created this painting in 2010 and only painted one painting since. My skills are not even close to this ability as a painter, as of at the moment, since I developed a thinking disorder but that didn’t stop me from creating other works of art, such as drawings, music, writing, digital art, websites and many creative projects for others. God creates and so do I.
i do like your arguments on this website. You seem like of one of the main people on here I agree with, though I am not the greatest at articulating my thoughts. Maybe it’s your fruit of the spirit.
