San Diego State University’s women’s volleyball team won its battle against San Jose State University’s team on Saturday during a match that included Save Women’s Sports protesters in the stands and trash talk between the teams.
At one point a SDSU player was injured after trying to block a spike from transgender player Blaire Fleming, but it looks like landing off balance after her jump caused the injury. She had to be helped off the court.
There were some Save Women’s Sports protesters in the stands and a lot of tension in the air. According to a review of the game by The College Fix, there was a moment when the ref had to talk to the team captains about trash talk.
