Guiding us through the recovery from COVID was surely one of Biden's greatest accomplishments.
Trump looked at COVID as a problem of his empty hotel rooms--and an annoyance that would make him look bad. Instead of a balanced, disciplined approach, aided by scientists, epidemiologists, and economists, he was erratic, impulsive, the poorest, most frightening example of "leadership" I had ever seen in my 70 years. I wondered how he would deal with other crises as he threw paper towels to Puerto Ricans and put Ryan Zinke in charge of helping. Zinke awarded huge contracts to friends--who took the money and ran, never delivering. To our national shame, he did not treat the Puerto Ricans like other Americans.
As I observed his meltdown, I thought, "what if we had a war?"
In 70 years, I had seen presidents in both parties rise up to leadership.
To me, the Trump years were America heading towards an iceberg as Trump piloted the Titanic.

Her answer to that question by storytelling reinforced the reason I won't vote for her. What caught my ear later in her story is "we have to work hard" lol. Many people are holding multiple jobs because of the cost of living. She shows me she doesn't have a clue. Even Biden in his current state could have articulated a better answer.
