  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Last month, Trump shared an AI-generated image of Swift in an Uncle Sam outfit giving a fake endorsement to his campaign, along with other images promoting the idea that he’d won over some of her fanbase. “I accept,” he said in posting the images. He's since denied knowing anything about the images...​

I don't like her music either, but Trump needs to stop with this AI stuff. We should make a law that artificial intelligence should not be used by candidates for his/her campaigns. Trump is the one complaining about fake news, when now he produces his own deepfake news nowadays. That is why I will vote 3rd party this year. I voted Biden last election, but I am not impressed with the Dems either.

Trump surely is aware of the news reports concerns his
rhetoric and 54 cases invoking 'Trump' in connection with violence, threats, alleged assaults.

As for myself, Im not really within her sphere of influence.

I vaguely recall reading that Taylor's net worth is $1.3 billion. Estimates of Donald Trump's net worth are varied--I've seen estimates from $3 billion to $6 billion. (And he may have inherited $500 million or so from his father, Fred.) But AFAIK, Taylor's earned her money on her own. She writes her songs and oversees production. Maybe Donald's afraid she'll overtake him some day. :oldthumbsup:
