Clawing our way back on topic, we see threads like this occasionally. They typically turn out to be cherry picking from the crosstabs trying to find a positive signal in the random variation seen in the results from small subgroups in a larger poll. For some reason, the threads are never updated when the next poll shows a random swing in the other direction.

The Right is pretty pro-hunting, isn't it? That's what these folks are supposedly doing when they're bagging geese in the park. Perhaps I should've said "illegal hunting" instead of merely "out of season," since grabbing geese from a park isn't necessarily an issue of the season. Either way, there's plenty of illegal hunting happening in Trump Country, but I don't hear folks on the Right wringing their hands about it.

Out of season hunting is illegal hunting. All of the hunters that I know take illegal hunting seriously. As hunters, we respect the balance in the ecosystem, and want to keep it healthy. It's in our best interest as hunters to study and care for the ecosystem. Funds from licensing are used to help support this objective. Poachers work against this objective.

Sure, but "The Right" is far larger than the group of people who are responsible hunters.

Conservatism includes conservation and respect for the rule of law. I think that it's people who are liberal on these issues who are the problem; but that's just common sense.

It was Nixon who started the EPA. I helped to correct you misconceptions; and we could go back an forth on this ad nauseam; but that would continue drag this thread off topic.

Do you mean like when in her opening statement Kamala said something to the effect that what we were going to see in the debate was lies from the same old tired playbook; then she proceeded to lie about Trump form that tired old playbook?

At least he was honest enough to tell us her intentions. I'm not sure if she did that out of what little integrity that she might have, or if it came from a lack of mental faculties.

Either way, she not effective with her lies, to those with discernment.

It will be interesting to see how much more ground she loses with the voters after that display.
