In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This seems like eloquence without an underpinning of facts.
For example:
Harris has millions of ordinary Americans donating to her campaign.
If Republicans want to build a coalition of working class voters, why do their states work to suppress the votes of these workers? Shift workers need early voting, convenient polling places, etc.
Given that Wyoming, with 600,000 people, has the same number of senators as California with 40 million, rural voters have more per capita representation than urban states..and that extends to the electoral college.
Our founding fathers had some pretty good ideas. Are you suggesting we need a dusruptor to share up our system?
There are some ideas, like ranked choice voting, that can make our system better. It seems to work well in Maine and California.

Weird that the Springfield police don't seem to know of any of these activities or reports. I wonder if, and I know this might sound crazy, the videos you watched on a social media platform might not be conveying the truth to you.
