The Witnesses (two olive trees Rev 11:4)
Rev 11:3 And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.

Mountain of Transfiguration
Mat 17:1-4 And after six days Jesus takes Peter, James, and John his brother, and brings them up into an high mountain apart, Mat 17:2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. Mat 17:3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Mat 17:4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if you will, let us make here three tabernacles; one for you, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
Moses and Elijah Prophecy
Rev 11:3b and they (two witnesses) shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days (1st half of the seven-year tribulation), clothed in sackcloth (parallels grief).
Rev 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
Identity of the Two Witnesses (Rev 11:3)
Rev 11:4 These are the two olive-trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

Two Olive Trees
Zec 4:2 And said unto me, What see you? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof: Zec 4:3 And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.
Moses
ARK BASKET: Exo 2:3 And when she could no longer hide him, she took for him an arc of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid it in the flags by the river's brink.
BURNING BUSH: Exo 3:3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. Exo 3:4 And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. Exo 3:5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off you shoes from off you feet, for the place whereon you stand is holy ground.

PARTING OF THE WATERS: Exo 14:16 But lift you up you rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.
MOSES DEATH: Deu 34:5-8 So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab (Jordan), according to the word of the LORD. Deu 34:6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knows of his sepulcher unto this day. Deu 34:7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated. Deu 34:8 And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.
BODY OF MOSES: Jud 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke.

Elijah means YAHWEH IS MY GOD
THE DROUGHT: 1Ki 17:1 And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.
FED BY RAVENS: 1Ki 17:6 And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.
RAISES DEAD SON: 1Ki 17:21 And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, I pray you, let this child's soul come into him again. 1Ki 17:22 And the LORD heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.
FIRE DOWN FROM HEAVEN: 1Ki 18:38 Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. 1Ki 18:39 And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God.
ELIJAH RUNS FROM JEZEBEL: 1Ki 19:4 But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, it is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.
PARTING THE WATER: 2Ki 2:8 And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground.
ELIJAH TAKEN TO HEAVEN: 2Ki 2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven
