Prayer shields for Tanzania and Nigeria

Tanzania​

Pray for a pastor who has planted a church in a potentially hostile environment. ‘There are many who want to hear about Jesus but are very frightened,’ he said. Thank God that he was able to share the gospel with them by going from house to house.

Pray for a church leader working in a predominantly non-Christian community whose two young children had indicated a desire to follow their friends’ religion. They no longer felt that way after he spoke to them but it is still a concern for the pastor.

Pray for Christian teachers from a school in eastern Tanzania whose landlord was asked to evict them by members of the community opposed to a Christian presence in the area. Praise God that the landlord has thus far refused to comply.

Please pray for emotional and physical healing for those living with medical conditions as a result of terrorist attacks – loss of limbs in some cases as well as other physical trauma.

Please pray for Christians who have been left traumatised by attacks on their villages and homes. Ask God to grant them peace and to know that they are not forgotten by other believers around the world. Pray especially for God’s blessing on the trauma-healing workshops that Release International helps to fund.
