CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

No. Every doctor and every medical facility in the country has been breaking the law every time. I really don't understand how they've been getting away with it...
Please don't waste your time and mine asking nonsensical questions. And don't quibble about legality. You say it's harming children. You want it stopped. Make a stand. Report it.

There are guidelines for reporting. And one is that it must be a crime. This is really simple stuff. I’m surprised that it’s confusing to you.

No, you just need to have a reasonable suspicion that a child is being harmed. The legalities of the matter don't concern you. And you don't need legal advice to contact child protection. Whether whatever is happening is a crime is not for you to decide. Others will do that.

But you knew this. And everyone knows that as much as you all complain that this is most definitely harming children, nobody has taken any steps whatsoever to back up that claim and contact relevant authorities.

No you don't. If I overhear someone talking about harming a child then I have to report it. Not if I have proof. Not if I know who the person is talking about about. Not if I only have specific details. Them talking about it and my reasonable suspicion that it might be correct obliges me to report it. I am legally bound to report it.
You seem to spend quite a lot of time looking for reasons not to report it.

And as a former law enforcement officer I can tell you I wouldn't be able to do anything about it. I could do a welfare check and ask to see the child but if they refuse to let me see the child all I can do is do a report and call DHR
There's not much you can do about something someone might do

Plus, it's a legal medical procedure performed on the advice of qualified physicians with the permission of the patient's parents. It would be hard to prove abuse based on nothing more than conservative Christian moral values.

It's not up to you to do anything except report it to the relevant authorities.
So many people are complaining incessantly that children are being harmed. But nobody is making the slightest attempt to report this harm. In fact, a couple of you are trying every excuse possible to avoid having to do so.
Why? I'll tell you. Because no-one would take you seriously.
