  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Walz's NGS Form 22 shows that he was a Command Sergeant Major on his last day of service. He was administratively reduced to Master Sergeant after the fact.

Yet the media was fleet-footed as ever finding Vance's "cat lady" comment from 2021(but still dragging their feet as to wether Harris was the border czar); and the DNC sending out Democratic minions to call him "weird" on every Sunday news show.

In the military a demotion is disciplinary. A reversion in rank at retirement is administrative and is not a disciplinary action. There's a difference. Suggesting that Walz was demoted is not only being disrespectful to him, but to countless other veterans who served honorably and had a reduction in rank at the time of retirement or separation from the military.

He served in the National Guard so he received a NGB22 rather than a DD214. I posted it earlier but removed it because I'm not 100% sure that it's legal to do that.

Walz's NGB Form 22 shows that he was a Command Sergeant Major on his last day of service. His NGB Form 22 was later amended to show his rank as E8/Master Sergeant for administrative and benefit purposes. Most importantly, it showed that he served honorably for 24 years.
